Kyle appeared delighted at Andrea's new willingness to improve their clandestine communication.
"I've had some thoughts while you were gone. But before that, let me tell you the latest news! I told you I got a call? It was from our favorite detective duo, informing us that our least favorite lying conwoman just started sharing all sorts of times and dates when we were together. The plan worked! Dominic must have totally fallen for it!"
"That's great!" Andrea said, trying to muster the appropriate amount of enthusiasm. She was glad the plan worked, of course. But the success was slightly bittersweet knowing that she had manipulated Dominic to do so, especially when he had just intervened with Simon. She had to remind herself that, ultimately, it was Celine who was being tricked, not Dominic.
The thought only helped her feel a little better about it.
