It was no surprise to Andrea that Vargas knew about Kyle's family connection. Evidently the detective had been staying discreet with the knowledge, perhaps under orders from his superiors. Whatever the reason, Andrea was grateful that he had been keeping it quiet. What he didn't know was how relevant that was to this case…
