"I've never been hiding, Steel, and I haven't started now," replied Andrea.
"You can say that with a straight face after your performance over at Stingray Square?" he asked. "And here's me thinking you were an honest lawyer."
That had actually slipped her mind. She'd only been thinking about the times Steel had been following while they were on the job; he hadn't known they were taking that afternoon off.
"I'm certainly not as good at remaining unseen as you," she replied. "Why the big reveal today?"
"I figured I might as well wait for you somewhere out of the rain."
Andrea glanced up at the clear blue sky. "It's not raining."
Steel took a long drag on his cigarette. "You can never be too careful," he said cryptically.
"Why not wait inside, if you're so worried about the weather?" asked Kyle.
