It felt odd sitting in silence across the desk from Nguyen. The detective had at least pulled out her notebook rather than staring at them both. Andrea felt bad that she'd shut down what was obviously an attempt to make pleasant small talk, but…. Well, there was just no way to explain what had happened to her hair without getting into the whole story.
But that had left Nguyen not knowing what was and wasn't safe to talk about at all. And Andrea's mind was very much on the testimony they were about to give. They haven't really talked about their encounter with the Russians since it had happened. Not in any kind of detail except what they would try to not share.
Having been through such an interview once, recounting her meeting with Pit Viper, Andrea knew that the detectives would have a lot of questions. Especially since this time, it was far more relevant to their case.
