"So," Kyle said, "Police station?"
"No!" Andrea said, more sharply than she intended. "I mean… not now."
Reliving the experience of being threatened in her car the other day by having to tell first Kyle and then Nguyen had been… unpleasant. She'd tried not to let it show. When she was done, it felt… cathartic. But that had been after a night's sleep to process everything and had only been a brief experience. She wasn't ready to relive the ordeal they had been through today.
"We can take all the time you need," said Kyle. "I have to admit, I'm not exactly in a rush either."
Andrea felt a little guilty delaying. Nguyen had asked them to report as soon as possible if something else happened. This certainly qualified! Only… Nguyen had wanted them to talk to the police sooner so they could take action, but honestly what action could they take?
