"I'll drink to that," Kyle grunted, raising his glass in a toast and downing his drink. Andrea took a single drink from her glass, too. Kyle was pretty sure that she had an actual functioning relationship with her father, but sometimes it was best to just go along with the toast so as to not offend the murderous host.
Sergei slammed his glass down onto the table. "You have brought me tragic news today. I have killed men for less. But you have also shared much information about the true villain in this tragedy!"
Kyle felt that, while he might not have been the orchestrator of the plan, Jones was definitely a true villain, and the world was better without him, but he wouldn't have dreamed of disagreeing with Sergei at that moment.
