"I think they're ghosting me," said Kyle, hanging up in irritation.
He was trying to get through to Vargas and Nguyen to report what they'd found related to the tattoo, but all he kept getting was voicemail.
"They wouldn't do that. We've all but proven you're innocent, and helped them multiple times with their investigation," said Andrea, as she navigated through the midday traffic.
"I bet if you call, they'll talk to you." Particularly if she called Nguyen. Regardless of what Andrea said, he wouldn't be satisfied until he was officially not a suspect anymore.
Andrea passed over her phone while they were stopped at a traffic light. "If you think so, go ahead. Put them on speaker if they say they'll only speak to me."
