With money in hand and more potentially on the way, Crystal was happy to talk, though she seemed more comfortable talking to Andrea, so Kyle got up and moved to the stool next to Andrea so she could talk to them both.
He found the story interesting, a little heartbreaking. He felt bad for wondering how much of it was true, but… He'd told her they'd pay more if they liked her answers. That was a lot of incentive for her to try to give answers they'd like, true or not.
She was perfectly willing to talk about the men who had helped smuggle her into the country, but was less willing to give any names or locations. It wasn't clear if Crystal knew who else was involved, even if she'd been willing to talk.
Unfortunately, that was the information Kyle and Andrea needed, not necessarily the smugglers, but the ones behind the docks they were smuggled through.
