Chereads / Claiming Lucian (Volume 3) / Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Darling

Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Darling

"If you were a chicken, you would be impeccable..."

A cough dared to erupt from my throat from what Raphael said. I bit my bottom lip, hindering the growth of my smile. I was enjoying myself too much. Behind Raphael's charming expression was a man who was minutes away from losing his wits.

Raphael and I made an agreement. It wasn't through words. It wasn't through careful deliberation. My stare gave him a pretty good idea of my plan and he wasn't very thrilled about it. He glanced at me and then at the Phoenix before vigorously swinging his head, pleading with me.

He was our only chance; I could not simply waste this opportunity. After short moments of convincing the Phoenix that Raphael was a suitor and cajoling Raphael that he was a suitor, she was more than welcome to accept him and Raphael had no choice but to give in. Raphael had to swallow his puke when she winked at him. I guess he wasn't into his kind after all.

I created two chairs by intertwining numerous vines. I moved a cylindrical rock between them, wrapping their table with colorful flowers that ranged from red, white and pink. I had consulted the voices in my head and followed whatever the women told me as Uncle Caspian said and I quote: "We need a woman's touch in this one."

They sat in front of each other. The female avifauna was much taller than Raphael by a few inches. She giggled at Raphael's humor (?), attempting to lightly slap Raphael with her blazing wing. Fortunately, the angel dodged and laughed nervously from the near death experience.

"Oh you! You can peck me all you want!" she flirted. "I don't bite...but I can definitely burn anyone into ashes." She winked.

Well that didn't lighten the mood.

Raphael faked his laugh. He quickly glanced at me with a wince before returning his attention to the bird. I hid at the level lower to where they were, clutching on the rocks so that I wouldn't fall on my death. I didn't want to intrude on Raphael's courting skills.

My back faced the ocean. There were scattered rock formations along the clear blue green waters. Creatures in their unique forms and mammoth-like sizes swam underneath before the surface broke from the scrimmage of a three-headed serpent and a sea dragon with purple scales. They appeared to be lethal.

Were they perhaps an acquaintance of my half brother?

Raphael continued to lay out sweet words and talked about their future, their children's future, and their children's children's future. I never thought developing romance would be this time consuming. At the very least, the Phoenix was gullible to every word. Raphael could talk about frying their kids for breakfast and she would probably bat her eyelashes to it.

"But I must ask, what brought you here? Don't tell me you came all the way up here just to pursue me?"

Raphael cleared his throat, rolling his shoulders to lessen his anxiety.

"Well...you see...I was searching for directions towards true love and fate directed me to you," he answered while leaning forward. I would have clapped my hands but I didn't want to disrupt his focus. He must have had some practice. The amount of sweat he had could sustain the ocean.

The Phoenix squawked. "Oh you sweet talker!" She moved her wing to cover her beak, shyly staring at Raphael through her blazing lashes.

"But I must admit that I am afraid of falling in love."

Raphael gulped yet quickly put on a charming smile. "You can fall from a tree and you can fall from a cliff but the best way to fall is if you fall for me."

If the other four were with me, they would have taken their lives rather than to continue listening to this.

The fires of the Phoenix grew stronger. She lowered her head to lean closer to Raphael's face. " I like my eggs fertilized especially by a gentleman like you..." She whispered in a risqué manner.

The only thing I could make out from what she said was that she needed urgent ling assistance. Hurry Raphael.

'You have no shame, nephew,' uncle sighed.

'No shame at all...' an old voice further supported.

Their steamy conversation was cut off when she dramatically turned away, placing her wing on her face as if she was facing a tragedy. "Alas! I cannot bear to see you get hurt by these blasted fires of mine. Many have tried to make love with me but they have failed miserably. They always ended up throwing themselves to this ocean in hopes of extinguishing my burning passion. Literally."

The bird whirled back, keeping a safe distance. "But truly, believe me, I have fallen for you. I only want nothing but happiness for you."

Raphael's expression was in a crisis. The Phoenix turned to me with a sharp glare, extending her wing to my direction. "You there!"

"Yes?" I replied. It was best to get on her good side or else both Raphael and I would not see nightfall.

"Take my place and make love to him on my behalf!" She demanded. The angel's face turned red. He rose from his seat, raising his hands in front of his chest in protest.

"Hold on, just a mome–"

"Think of me while you make love with this lowlife..." The Phoenix wept, not being able to look at what was about to transpire.

I bowed at Raphael. "I am but a humble oaf, please make use of my rear as you see fit."

"But my--" Raphael choked on his own spit. "My love, are you sure? You would not be jealous?"

The Phoenix swayed her head, glancing at Raphael with shimmering love struck eyes. "Oh darling, your happiness is my joy! Now do it, I shall give my blessing to a child who will be formed! " She declared with much blazing passion that almost burned us if we didn't dodge the fiery waves she emitted.

I hoisted myself up, sauntering towards the dumbstruck angel. He was extremely pale all of a sudden. The Phoenix was astonishingly dense for not even noticing her dying escort.

"Lucian, I don't think I could..."

I placed my hand on his shoulder, putting my lips close to his ear. "We can turn away now and forget about the key. This isn't something I'd risk your dignity for."

'You just did nephew. You even got him nearly killed,' uncle opposed.

Well he was alive, wasn't he?

I was about to pull away but Raphael gripped my hips tightly.

"For how long should I keep my dignity intact at the expense of your future?"

He took me into an embrace before cupping my face with both of his hands. "I promised myself that I'll protect you no matter what. Not just your physical body but also your mind, your heart, your soul and your dreams."

Raphael's eyes held my own. Our lips ghosted each other. His touch was different from Samael's adventurous hands. His gaze wasn't Caleb's possessive ones. He was gentle and protective yet behind all that I felt as if he was still hiding something. He was afraid to be let loose.

I shoved Raphael back, his eyes widened.

"I am a scum. I am your slave. But master, you're just as filthy as me." I slid off my shirt, throwing it to the side. I tilted my head at him. "Strip, master."

Raphael licked his lips. His metal armor dispersed into nothingness, leaving him in a tunic. He removed his shirt, revealing his scarred and pale sinewy chest and abdomen. I traced his muscles with my fingertips, feeling him from his neck and down to his v-line. He shivered.

He was big. Just staring at his length and imagining how this would be inside me made my rear tingle with anticipation. I reached behind me, inserting a finger through my sensitive chute with ease. My insides had started to become slippery.

"Wait, Lucian—Urgh!"

I licked the tip of his cock, taking half of him inside my mouth as I played with my own hole. He pulled my head away, his bottom lip bleeding from biting it too much.

He knelt, placing a kiss on my forehead. "Please do not sully your lips. Let me do all the work. Let me be the one to satisfy you."

The angel pushed me to look the other way, bending my torso so that my hips were raised up. He parted my butt cheeks, kneading them firmly. Rapahel glided his tongue against my entrance, pushing the tip inside and causing my puckered hole to become more slippery.

"Put it in. Put it in now," I whispered.

He turned me on my back, spreading my legs wide. He lined his cock against my entrance and pushed inside gently and slowly, meant to torture me. The feeling of being full again was familiar, sending fluttering insects in my stomach. Raphael began to pound inside me; his face was twisted into pure pleasure but with a tinge of guilt.

What made him so protective of me? What made him care so much?

I want to know why a man like him was so loyal to the likes of me.

I pulled his head down; our lips met and molded as he kept my hips busy and my hole occupied. His thrusts became faster, harder, and firmer. I grunted and broke from the kiss while he couldn't hold his moan any further.

With a few more hard thrusts he came inside, his semen spilling out from my loosened hole. The moment he fell on top of me, the Phoenix squawked. "Again, do it again!"

"Oy, you have got to be kidding me!" my crown shouted. "Sparkles, this stupid and perverted boy is my half-brother. Lend them the key to my mother's city or I'll make sure you never get reincarnated again."

Sparkles comically paused. She knew who that voice belonged to and was beyond terrified. Raphael pushed himself up and withdrew his manhood out gently. A blush remained on his pale cheeks. I didn't know what to say to him. It felt as if he was forced to do it with me.

"Raphael..." I called out.

"Yes...Yes...right away sir! Come, follow me to the ruins!" She flew off in a hurry that we had to pick up our clothes and pursue her naked. Raphael carried me silently.

The ruins she mentioned was a short flight from her nest. Most of the pillars leading to the entrance had fallen apart. Greenery had covered the building's exterior and it would have been hard to find if searched by foot. The meteor that Peaches tossed away perched right before the first fallen pillars, creating a crater underneath. From the looks of the meteor, someone had cracked it in half. The insides radiated with a luminous blue.

"It is deep inside the ruins. I cannot guarantee your safety as there are guardians that safekeep the key. Be careful, especially you, my love."

Chills ran up and down Raphael's spine. He could only nod at her but with an evident scowl on his face.

Darkness loomed inside the ruins. An echo of a child's wail resonated from within.

"Lucian, perhaps it would be best if I go alone. We don't know what's in there."

I swayed my head. "No, the fact that we don't know what's in there is a valid reason for me to come with you. We have to retrieve the child and the key."

He raked his hand through his hair. "You never listen to me at all." His frown lessened yet he still held a displeased expression. "Suit yourself." He tossed the garment I had discarded earlier and led the way. Slipping on my shirt while walking, I stopped when I'd lost sight of him and the entrance. The light that came from the doorway was replaced by torches hanging by the wall.

"Raphael?"

The wails of the child grew stronger. I was alone from here on out. I do hope we could make it to dinner but I was certain that the other four already knew that we were missing.
