Chapter 9 - Vibrant

(Patréøn here: /door_kun)

My words are flawless, and I can envision his reaction to my comments. Now, I only need to ensure he believes it.

And finally... *Ding*

[Copy Ninja has shared item: Shadow Clone Technique scroll]

Bingo. I suppose he found out how to send items via the sharing system without any trouble.

[Ex-Veteran (Admin): Here's the info.]

[Ex-Vetran has shared file: Doc 1, Kakashi's world.pdf]

[Ex-Veteran (Admin): It's nice doing business with you, Kakashi-san]

The information I provided to him wasn't the complete version; naturally, I made some adjustments. For instance, I mentioned that Itachi would eliminate his own clansmen because of Danzo, but I didn't specify the timing of it.

The majority of the data focused on Danzo's abilities and weaknesses, detailing his combat prowess. This led Kakashi to believe the admin is trying to put him up against danzo.

It is indeed true that if he intends to rescue Shisui or stop Itachi Uchiha, his only option would be to defeat Danzo. Additionally, the revelation of Danzo's secret has piqued his interest.

The provided information was incredibly detailed, almost as if it originated from Danzo directly. The mention of multiple Sharingans and the powerful Izanagi made Kakashi reluctant to accept it. However, now he can speculate on why Danzo targeted him even before he became an Anbu captain.

It becomes clear that Danzo wasn't after Kakashi's life; rather, he coveted Kakashi's Sharingan. The description indicates that Danzo's Sharingan might be overused, leading him to face the risk of going blind.

Kakashi will undoubtedly notice this. I am certain that gradually, I can sow the seeds of doubt in his heart.

[Ex-Veteran (Admin): Now then, since our deal has come to an end I will go offline now]

That's what I'd want to do, but suddenly a new message popped up.

[Star Plasma Vessel: WAIT!!!]

It was obviously Riko-chan.

[Star Plasmas Vessel: Ame-san neber have me anything for my skill! Riko didn't get any payment you know!!?]

I obtained her 'Cursed Energy Affinity,' and my universal Affinity helps me adapt to different energies quickly. To understand more ways of using my EP, I need to learn other 'Affinities' skills. For example, using cursed techniques (Jujutsu) involves harnessing negative emotions to manifest visible energy. Chakras also require specific skills, and I may seek Kakashi's guidance for that.

But here's an easy way for this...

*Ding*

[Ex-Veteran (Admin): @CopyNinja I'd like to make another deal.]

[Star Plasma Vessel: don't ignore me! 🙈]

[Copy Ninja: What is it?]

[Ex-Veteran (admin): Was there a skill with the name starting with "Chakra" in your list?]

[Copy Ninja: There is "Chakra Control" What do you want to exchange it with?]

[Ex-Veteran (admin): I can give you a skill to understand language almost instantly. You can study Sealing Arts (Fuinjutsu) easily after you get it.]

In reality, Fuinjutsu or sealing arts are incredibly versatile. It's like using flex tape on everything. All you need is the knowledge to create and apply them effectively.

[Copy Ninja has shared a skill core: 『Chakra Control』]

Nice.

[Ex-Veteran (admin): now I will sent the skill, @StarPlasmaVessel feel free to download this skill as well]

[Star Plasma Vessel: Oh! So you weren't ignoring me! 😁]

[Ex-Veteran (Admin) has shared skill core: 『Multiligual』]

After receiving the item and skills from Kakashi, I quickly download them. To ensure privacy, I decide to lock the door of my room. As the download completes, a matrix-like manifestation appears, and the scroll materializes above my smartphone.

And... *Ding*

[Would you like to download the skill core, 『Universal Affinity』?]

.

.

.

The scroll contained intriguing theories about manipulating chakra, enabling the ability to "program" it to function autonomously by mirroring the caster's body movements. That, and also a handful series of hand signs.

Those are called "hand seals", they serve as invaluable techniques to assist individuals in summoning and shaping the required chakra for performing various Ninja techniques. Each technique necessitates a distinct sequence of hand seals, demanding memorization for precise execution.

[Thought Acceleration is Active]

Through Thought Acceleration, I conducted a detailed scan of chakra control and its workings. Chakra, being a blend of two energies to produce different elements, sets it apart from regular energy utilization.

However, thanks to my Universal Affinity, I can easily adapt to any energy type, eliminating the need to circulate energies internally for the desired outcome. It simplifies the process to a mere manifestation.

*Poof*

After a few trials and errors, a flawless clone of myself materializes in a puff of smoke.

And my system responded, *Ding*

[Extra Skill, 『Shadow Replication』has been obtained]

Shadow Replication? Oh well, the system seems to automatically translate the technique into a different skill...

I addressed my clone, asking, "Can you utilize your skills?"

To which she replied, "I believe so, and more importantly, I can use Thought Acceleration too."

The first test was successful. Moving on to the second, I instructed, "Overuse your Thought Acceleration."

She responded hesitantly, "Eh?"

...

...

"What do you mean by 'Eh'? Do it now..."

"No, I mean... I would die, you know!?" The clone expressed with concern.

I asserted, "You are me, and if you perish, you'll merge back into me. So, stop hesitating and just do it."

"But the pain...," the clone protested.

After some back-and-forth, the clone reluctantly agreed, finally complying with my commands.

And *Poof*, she perished, overworking her brain, while I sat there munching on chocolate. As the clone dissipated into smoke, its energy began to merge back into my core heart.

Information flooded my mind wildly, causing genuine discomfort this time... The headache was too great, allowing clones to use thought acceleration might not be ideal in the future.

As I expected, I said to myself, "Well, that was bound to happen, I suppose..." After that, I changed into my uniform and headed outside.

I ignored Aqua who is busy with his books and went outside.

Passing by the house's garage, I called out to my Mom, who was teaching Ruby how to dance. She has been tutoring her personally. "Mom, I'm going for a walk for a while~!" I exclaimed. Both Mom and Ruby chimed in, "Ah? Okaaay~ have a safe trip~"

.

.

.

Certainly, it's unusual for a five-year-old to be wandering alone, especially in a suspicious alleyway. However, here I am, needing to catch a train and somehow finding myself in Shinjuku. When I said I wanted to "go out," I simply meant to use the train as my mode of transportation.

Given that Shinjuku ward was brimming with numerous alleyways and boasted one of Japan's largest red-light districts, my presence in this area is undoubtedly something to be frowned upon.

Fortunately, the alley I found myself in was surprisingly deserted, providing me with the ideal space to begin my practice. I commenced by gently running my fingers along the towering walls that enclosed the alleyway.

As I allow my energy to flow, something miraculous happens—it adheres to the surface. Initially, it proves challenging to disengage, but with persistence, I successfully break free.

I've really got good grasp of it. I concentrate energy at the bottom of my feet to climb walls without using my hands. If the energy is weak, I might slip and fall. If it's too strong, I'll be pushed away from the wall, risking a fall and causing damage to the wall. Precision and focus are key to mastering this technique.

Stepping back, I confidently place my right foot against the wall. Remarkably, it clings to the surface. Gradually, I raise my other limb and take a step forward... moving steadily along the walls like shinobis. A smile naturally forms on my face, overwhelmed with the thrill of the moment.

Holy crap...

I AM • MOTHER F*CKING • SPIDER-MAN, B*TCH!

With determination, I swiftly made my way up, grateful that I had opted not to wear skirts. My excitement was overwhelming, causing me to run without restraint until I finally reached the rooftop of the building.

After arriving at the rooftop I took some time to gasp the air. The adrenaline in my body hadn't toned down yet. There's one more thing I'd need to try...

Standing at the edge of the building, I focused on the nearest rooftop as my target. Crouching down, I gathered energy in my foot, and at the perfect moment, I kicked off from the rooftop... *BLAM*

"WHOAAAAAA!!!" I soared through the air, exhilarated by the flight.

As I soared through the air, unsure of how to land, I decided to land safely on my feet while using energy to cushion the impact. With this plan in mind, I felt more confident about handling the landing successfully.

With a resounding *BOOM*, I landed on the rooftop, and to my surprise, I created a small crater upon impact.

"UWAA!???" I exclaimed, taken aback by the force of the landing and the resulting damage on the rooftop.

But... it seems I may have molded the energies a bit too much...

*BLAM* "WAAAAAAAAH!!!!???"

The excess energy residue unexpectedly launched me back into the air without my consent. I quickly realized my control was far from good; in fact, it was quite poor.

[Thought Acceleration is Active]

As I reached great heights and started to fall, my thought acceleration kicked in, slowing down everything around me. This gave me precious moments to strategize my next move and calculate the right amount of energy to use.

Being thrown quite far away, I spotted another flat rooftop—the next destination acquired. This time, I focused on using the energy in my foot to absorb the impact, and I managed to land softly.

*Thud*

Finally, I was able to land perfectly, bringing a wide grin to my face. Feeling exhilarated, I launched from rooftop to rooftop, jumping and running over buildings like a certain superhero.

Though there were no threads to make a satisfying *THWIP THWIP*, the experience was still thrilling and exciting.

After a few rooftops later, I was greeted by the breathtaking sight of the city. It was adorned with tall skyscrapers, neon-lit streets, and bustling crowds, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Shinjuku's nightlife was particularly renowned, offering a wide array of entertainment options from karaoke bars and clubs to theaters and cinemas. Additionally, the district boasted the Kabukicho area, one of Japan's prominent red-light districts, which added a contrasting element to its vibrant ambiance.

Everything... Is so vibrant.

.

.

.

Well, I got home a bit late and I got scolded by both Mom and Miyako-san later on, but... That was worth it, right?

I mean... Right?
