When he heard the sound and moved towards it, he was indeed surprised to see movements in the trees. It was some creatures swinging from one tree to another, which had him excited as he knew what this was.
He did not approach further but rather started to survey the surroundings until he was sure it was safe. In this way, he decided to set up camp in this place and observe the monkeys slowly until his Five Animal Boxing could no longer be improved. With this chance, he was certain that, as long as things went well, he could at least attain another 200 proficiency points.
This was not a big deal; he just needed to gain some insights and find some way of making sure that his blood activity was increased, and the speed of practicing the section that involved the monkey would be completed faster. In the moment he practiced in the radioactive region, he seemed to have already come to this realization. But the most important thing was to gain insights; after that, the speed of practice would not be an issue. He had already realized this and knew that once he accomplished this, he would indeed be able to undergo another transformation and take another step forward.
Truth be told, he did not know much about the issue of the potential stage, but at the time he was not bothered to, what he wanted to do at the moment was reach a bottleneck in improvement before thinking about anything else. That was not now, after all, he could see that he had more chances to accomplish something in the forest. Once he had no other means to improve he would leave. Besides, it would be very difficult for him to feed himself on the outside, but that was not the case in this forest. Even though his actions were considered illegal, as he was consuming wildlife, he seemed to have thrown this out of his mind.
The reasons for his actions were indeed not that difficult to guess, and he kept moving around in a circular manner observing the monkeys, this turned out to be useful as he indeed realized that his proficiency had improved but this was only for three days, and it reached a standard state. It seemed that regardless of what happened the speed would not increase in any way. Feeling this change, he decided to leave.
He wanted to keep looking in the forest but seemed to realize it would not be of any use, more importantly, he seemed to have just thought of something important.
"I don't need to see these animals anymore, the videos I watched when I started to practice this technique seemed to have been memorized and seemed to be no different from What I can see in person. Since the improvement is still stagnant, something is missing. What could it be?" He asked this to himself as he pondered silently.
Right, he had stopped moving and was in a daze, because he could not understand this at all, and as he was just lost in thought, the sound of noises seemed to bring him back, and looking in the direction of the monkeys, they seemed to be making the noise.
The most important thing was that they seemed to be scared, and this had him curious as such he moved towards them rather than retreating as he had planned. When he approached, his figure seemed to be fast, and could see a group of monkeys in the open ground seemingly surrounding some creature that seemed new to him. It seemed to resemble a cat but was rather massive, and he could not identify it because it did not seem to match the descriptions of the animals he knew.
But looking at the make of a tiger, and its massive body almost made one assume it was a king in this forest, even the Monkeys that seemed to be wailing did not dare get close. They just kept shouting in the distance.
With the appearance of this creature in his line of sight, he did not even seem to cast a glance as the monkey helplessly struggling in its mouth, until his thoughts changed.
"Let me see how strong this creature is compared to the current me." As he thought this he shifted his gaze towards the monkey in the creature's mouth and thought, " For having stayed here and improved some proficiency of Five Animal Boxing to some extent, I can consider repaying this Karma." He was just thinking this, but even if he did not believe in karma, his actions could not go against his own will.
With a movement, the wailing monkeys suddenly seemed to be confused when they saw another figure appearing. Moreover, he seemed to be approaching the cat-like creature, that seemed to be on guard upon his arrival.
Cheng Shan did not come to introduce himself as such when he landed, he punched out. The power of this punch seemed to make him more excited, as it was as though he had released all the frustration in his heart.
"Boom!"
The sense of crisis in the cat-like creature's mind seemed to kick in and it released the monkey before it took two steps back. It was unfortunately too late and the punch landed on it, he also seemed to feel some boredom when he saw it collapse.
The most important thing was that the head of the creature seemed crushed, but the white fur on its body seemed to confuse him even more. When he observed and realized that it was not getting up anymore, he turned his gaze and observed all around. All the monkeys seemed to be silent. Withdrawing his gaze, he moved toward the Creature and dragged it up, putting it on his shoulder before leaving.
He could feel it was not light, but it was not that heavy either, as such he kept moving out of the forest. He had seen something that kept repeating in his mind but he threw it out as though he was just thinking too much.
He seemed to have seen some monkey with some eyes that had wisdom in them, but when he checked again, nothing like that seemed to have appeared. He did not seem to be interested in confirming it as an idea had just struck him at that moment. His martial arts seemed to lack spirituality, and perhaps it was not that important to keep trying to observe the animals. What he had to do, was to try and give his Five Animal Boxing some spirituality and the speed at which he practiced might perhaps increase considerably.
The same reason was why he seemed to be retreating, he seemed to be more interested in going back to the place with the radioactive environment to try out his thoughts. Once he succeeded, the benefits perhaps would be greater.
