Zhao Feng was a 15-year-old Student who lived an ordinary school life which was simply studying.
That was the only thing that he did, well aside from reading Cultivation Novels but those are a waste of time according to his mom.

However, while walking he noticed a beeping sound behind him, he turned and saw that it was a truck hurling towards him at fast speeds. 'What the fuck? I'm on the sidewalk!! HOW!'

Zhao Feng's eyes opened and he saw Gu Xi, his teacher that constantly had a frown on their face, and to his surprise not, he had one right now.
"Why are you sleeping at the beginning of class? I know that you don't have much hope in advancing your cultivation realm but you should at least put some effort into listening." Gu Xi lectured with his frown unmoving, and at the same time feeling disappointed on the inside.
Zhao Feng felt confused at what was happening, he had been struck by a truck and now he was in class. What was especially confusing was the "Cultivation Realm" that his teacher had spoken about it.

Mortal Roots were very unbalanced and had all 5 Elements making it unsuitable to cultivate as the elements were in disarray creating conflicts with each other. Meanwhile, Heavenly Roots consisted of one element, making it incredibly suited to cultivate according to that element.
Nonetheless, he scoffed when he heard the murmurs as according to these memories, at the Body Refining Stage, the person's talent didn't matter. Body Refining was just that, refining your body into creating a foundation by using Body Refining Methods in order to begin gathering the elements in the air into one's body which was the Qi Refining Stage.
How much you progressed depended on how much work you put in which meant that Lui Yan must have put a lot of work into advancing.
Though he couldn't really be talking as the owner of this body was only at the Second Stage of Body Refining, and Zhao Feng knew why.
It was simply because he had Mortal Spiritual Roots which meant that there really wasn't a future for him to advance very far. More so when cultivating the Refining Method, it brought much burden and pain to the body which shook the previous owner to simply give up.

He couldn't really understand why he gave up so early, sure he couldn't make it very far but reaching the Qi Refining Stage gave him some extra power and at the same time increased his lifespan by 20 years.

Gu Xi nodded appreciating the intelligence of his student, "Indeed but you forgot that Physiques can also increase affinities with certain elements like Water, Fire, etc like Spiritual Roots. The weakest recorded Physique is comparable to having Earth Ranked Spiritual Roots, but they are very rare."
Zhao Feng nodded as there wasn't a single person in Jiang City to have a Physique.
Gu Xi glanced at the clock, "It seems that class is over, do your best to cultivate!"
Zhao Feng was walking home with slow steps as he tried to see any differences in this city from his previous one and there weren't any. It was as if the Fantasy Genre was simply added, and talking about the Genre, he still hasn't gotten his Golden Finger yet.
It made him anxious to think that perhaps he didn't really get anything, but from the novels he had read, it could take months for the system to initiate. The book in his hand sprung to life turning golden for a few seconds before finally it turned back to normal.
