The capital city is just as lively as always, but it is too crowded. There are different vendors selling their goods, and customers patronizing them.
"These hairpins are beautiful, don't you think?" I asked excitedly as I held two different colors of hairpins in my hand, pointing them to Zhang Han.
"The blue one is better," he replied with a smile.
"The blue one it is then. How much is it?" I asked, facing the stall owner.
"Just five pieces of silver," he replied with a smile.
"There you go, thanks," I said, handing the silver to the mister and collecting my hairpin in return.
"Do you come to the capital city often?" I asked as I walked beside Zhang Han amidst the crowd.
"I once lived here happily with my parents, so it's just normal to come," he replied with a frown.
I can't imagine how much his parents meant to him. He must miss them a lot, just like how I'm missing my mom now, I thought sadly.
