Priscilla's POV
"Liz, please call the ambulance," I said anxiously. My heart was pounding against my chest, and my stomach churned with dread. The mere thought of it broke my heart. Fortunately, Liz had her phone with her and quickly called the ambulance.
As I reached my room, I pushed the door open and rushed inside. A wave of relief washed over me when I saw Max playing with Marrison. I hurried to the cot where Madelyn was sleeping.
"What happened? Why do you look so pale?" Max asked, his voice filled with confusion. I walked to the cot, my heart pounding even harder, and my knees growing weak with each step.
"The kids have been poisoned. I've already called the ambulance," Liz explained.
