I was standing in the shower, feeling the water cascade down my body. Anger and sadness were mixing inside me, and I just couldn't comprehend why Max would keep selling me dreams that would never come true. It was frustrating to know that he was dating someone else behind my back and coming to lie to my face. He got mad whenever I got close to someone else who wasn't him, but he could get close to anyone he wanted without anyone questioning him. It just wasn't fair. Tears streamed down my face as I sobbed, feeling like everything was falling apart. I hated everything, but most of all, I hated being pregnant. My emotions were all over the place, and I found myself crying even when there was no apparent reason to do so.
