My heart thudded dully in my chest as I rested my head against the door. I have been avoiding Priscilla for the whole week. I'm unable to face her after discovering the truth about my father and what he has done to her mother. I mean, how could I face her? My mind was screaming at me to tell her the truth, but my heart wasn't allowing me to say anything.
