Stay..." He stopped midway slumping to the ground.
"Oh!" Addison held him going down together with him.
"Oh, my G! Finn!!" She shrieked holding him.
"What do I do...Finn oh, no! Help...somebody...Finn wake up" She slaps his cheeks lightly trying to wake him up but he won't budge. Then she dipped her hand into her pocket and brought out her phone.
"Hello" She said after dialing Ash's line which he picked after the second attempt.
"Ash...help it's Finn"
STARR BOYZ APARTMENT.
"Shouldn't we take him to the hospital?" Addison asked worried behind Ash who sat on the bed attending to the unconscious Finn's bruises.
"He'll be fine...you don't need to worry. I'll look over him so you can go rest" Ash replied not taking his eyes off Finn.
"But_"
"Quinn..." Finn suddenly mutters, his eyes still tightly shut.
"Oh! He's awake!" Addison rushed to his side.
"Finn..." She called.
"Quinn...Quinn..." He only keep on calling shaking his head with tears rolling down his face.
"You should leave I'll take care of him" Ash said to Addison.
"But...he..."
"Please...just leave Newbie" Ash said seriously and she sighs. There must be something he doesn't want her to know.
"Alright..." She mumbles turning to leave but Finn grabbed her hand stopping her.
She gasp looking back at him, his eyes wide opened now.
"Wait for me...I'm coming back for you. Quinn..." He said slowly, his voice accompanied with bitterness and longing. Addison stares at him sadly. She turns fully at him and squatted before him cleaning his tears.
"I'll be waiting...come fast Finn" She answers back going along with him. Strangely, she felt she needed to give him some sort of assurance though she doesn't know the situation on ground.
She smiles warmly at him, stroking his hair.
"Go to sleep now Finn...you'll be okay" Finn smiles out tears closing his eyes. And like that Addison keeps stroking his hair gently till he fell asleep again. Ash only stood staring at her in wonder and astonishment.
"What are you really...newbie?" He thought within.
After leaving Finn's room, she sat at the living room dialing Bin's number. But it wouldn't go through no matter how many times she does.
She sighs resting her head back on the couch.
ROBIN'S ROOM.
With a bottle of tequila in his hand, he held a portrait of Rush and him in the other hand peering sternly at it with sadness...and maybe a little touch of anger also.
Rush Hudson. That's his name. His brother and the only family he has. Not that they're blood related, they had actually been together as brothers since they were in the orphanage. Yeah, you're right. Robin is an orphan. He has no idea of who his parents were. His story is just like others, dropped outside the gate when he was an infant with nothing.
He has always been the reticent type. He's always alone and doesn't interact.
Rush had his story also unlike Robin, His parents died and he was dropped at the orphanage by a neighbor.
He had always been the complete opposite of Robin. He was outgoing and garrulous. His cheerful personality made him loved by everyone even at the orphanage. He had no problems making friends and whatnot.
He noticed Robin always been quiet and alone so he approached him. Brought him out of his lonely world, and brushed him up.
Strangely, these two undying love for each other was unmatched. They became brothers and did literally everything together. They're always together and their bond was unbreakable.
Robin has always been interested in music...before he met Rush, it was his only best friend and companion. Thus, he began having the dream of being a musician.
"I'll stand in front of the whole world...talk to them through music. Heal those hurting...and love all" He always says to Rush. Rush had no particular dream in mind. But because of Robin, he also went into music.
"I'll stand beside you in front of the whole world...watch you talk to them through music. Heal the hurting ones and love them all together with you" He would always replied him.
The journey to the music world was more of a Herculean task for them. But they managed to scale through the hardship. Robin made music..while Rush sings it.
Like that...they build of the band STARR BOYZ which Finn and Ash joined later on.
Their dreams came true, they were happy...but it wasn't enough for Robin. He not just only wanted to make music...he wanted to sing it also. He wanted to be on stage singing his own song. But maybe he wasn't good enough, or he was ill luck. Rush had always been the one recognized. They loved him more. Everything he ever wanted and dreamed of...was coming true for Rush and not him. Rush always get everything Robin had always wanted. From his dreams, to recognition and now to the girl he loved. Viola.
Robin met Viola first, and he liked her first.
They became friends first and he was gonna ask her out. However, Rush beats him to that. Like his dream, he lost Viola to him also...once again. Something he had always wanted. However, they are brothers, he cherished him and thanks to him singing his songs, He was able to be at the top he is right now. What more could he possibly asked for.
Things went well, until Rush started drifting away. Though they're always together, Robin always felt they weren't together anymore.
Rush started keeping secrets but Robin didn't even bother to care. He left him alone and that nearly destroyed their bond. Things keeps going down the hills between them and when Robin finally made attempts to resurrect their bond, Rush disappeared.
With no traces.
Abruptly.
Leaving him stranded.
Rush's disappearance really took a big toll on him. He regretted not paying attention to him when he was still there. And everyday, he ponder and wonder what could have made him disappeared up till date. Where he could be and what he could be doing?
What made him disappeared suddenly?
That's a story for another day.
Entering the room Addison find it all dark. Signing, she walked over to the switch carefully but then her leg stumbled on something.
"What the_" She withdrew finding her way to the wall. She turned on the switch and was beyond startled on what her eyes met.
"What the actual F!" The room has literally turned to a mess. Things scattered everywhere all over the place.
she looked around in total flabbergastation with wide mouth. Hearing muffle cries, she trace her eyes to where it's coming from and right there right beside the bed her eyes landed on him...the mess himself.
His hair was as messy as f**k, he sat on the floor with his head bowed a bottle of tequila in his hand.
"Robin!" She gasped walking towards him through the pile of mess.
"DON'T COME NEAR!" He threw a picture portrait she hasn't notice him holding at her. But she was lucky enough to duck so it crashed on the wall the glass shattering to pieces.
"Bin!" She gasped loudly looking at his eyes, Bin looked at her releasing rapid heavy breathes at the same time.
He digged his fingers into his hair and took a heavy swig from the bottle.
Before Addison could process anything, he started sobbing. She couldn't believe she could met him in a sorry state like this.
It was weird to see him that way.
"Bin..." She squatted before him pulling him into her warm embrace.
He stinks of alcohol and one could tell he is as full as a goog. Addison couldn't help but feel bad.
"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Bin" She apologize while he cries on her shoulder. After crying for like a minute, he sniffs heavily and pushed her away.
"Bin..." She muttered.
"All these years...all I've ever did was to try to meet up with him. He's always seen by others while I've always been behind. I didn't wanna be his shadow anymore. It felt unfair...why does he have to have everything easy when he does literally nothing? I literally did everything...the thinking, the ideas...the dreams...they were all mine. But...he only takes the credit for it alI I won't dispute the fact that I did hated him for a while...I envied him I felt cheated and angry for a while..." He paused and sniffs rubbing his nose. Addison settled on the floor also a few metres from him listening to his pathetic story.
"He's always the better one...he's always the loved one. I founded the dream for us but I've never been recognized not even once. It's always him...everything I ever wanted, he has always got it without a problem. Every damn time I struggled and struggled hoping that one day it'll be okay...I had always hoped for the best that's why I've always worked so hard...when he disappeared into thin air...I took over everything he left behind. Trying to fix every of his faults. While doing that I also worked twice harder to gain recognition but...in the end it's always him. Nobody sees me. Even after his disappearance I remain nothing but a shadow...they won't see me no matter what I do..." He kept sobbing silently while Addison just says nothing but listen.
He sniffs and rubs his eyes. Then he looked up at her. Her heart skipped a beat as their eyes met and she gasped lightly.
"I just realized how pathetic and useless I've been all along." He stood while Addison did also.
He pointed to her.
"Even a newbie like you is better off me..." He muttered drunkenly staggering backwards.
"Bin!" Addison quickly rushed to him grabbing him.
