The two heroes stood frozen, staring at each other for a few seconds until Tony Stark suddenly lunged forward and embraced Karito in a heartwarming hug. The embrace caught Karito off guard, but he couldn't help but feel relieved to be reunited with his old friend.

As they separated, Tony's hands instinctively roamed Karito's upper body, poking and prodding as if to confirm that he was truly standing there in front of him. The shock of seeing Karito again after thinking he had disappeared into another dimension left Tony's mind spinning.

(Tony) "You're alive," He muttered in disbelief, a huge grin spreading across his face. "How is this even possible?"

(Karito) He couldn't help but laugh at Tony's reaction. "You think I was going to die by something like a nuclear explosion?" he replied, his own grin matching Tony's.

The two friends sat down on the bench, catching up on everything that had happened since they last saw each other. Despite the craziness of their lives as superheroes, it felt good to just sit and chat like old times.

(Tony) He quirked an eyebrow as he looked at Karito. "So, where have you been?" he asked, his tone laced with curiosity.

(Karito) Let out a small chuckle. "Just the usual," he replied with a shrug. "I accidentally found myself outside every dimension in existence. Rode a cosmic whale, fought a scorpion-themed villain, and almost destroyed the fabric of existence. The fight with that scorpion guy ended up with me and him falling in, like, three or four different dimensions? I don't know. I beat him, and I was stuck in another dimension for about a year. Then I fought an army of Darks, single-handedly defeated them, went on a mission to cleanse another world, stayed there for about 21 years, and now here I am."

(Tony) His eyes widened in amazement. "If it weren't for the fact that I know about your actual job, I wouldn't have believed a single word you just said," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. "Honestly, it's incredible. Do you have any idea what kind of technology we could use in case of an invasion?"

(Karito) He let out a sigh. "I know what you're thinking, Tony, but no. Someone already tried that, and almost destroyed the entire multiverse," he said, shaking his head. "It hasn't been easy... like, at all."

(Tony) Leaned back in his seat, raising his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I get it," he said with a chuckle. "I was just trying to protect us."

(Karito) He let out a small smile. "I know, Tony. But trust me, I've got this."

Their conversation momentarily halted, allowing a comfortable silence to settle upon them, as a gentle breeze played upon their forms. Suddenly, Karito's countenance contorted into an expression of worry, his brow furrowing with concern. Tony, perceptive as ever, anticipated the nature of his friend's thoughts but allowed him to express them in his own words, in regard to the tumultuous events of the Civil War that had been left unaddressed until now.

(Karito) His eyes flickered with concern as he asked, "How... are the others?" His mind racing with worry and guilt for what he had done.

(Tony) Let out a sigh, his eyes dropping to the ground before meeting Karito's once more. "All of them know about what happened. They've forgiven you, thinking you were either dead or lost in the multiverse. But Natasha... she was deeply affected by what happened. She was terrified of you after the beatdown you delivered to everyone. It's understandable that everyone blamed me for what happened, and they had every right to do so. I made that suit for you and I never tested it before giving it to you. And it cost you your sanity and control over your body."

Tony's words were like a weight on Karito's chest. He knew the guilt was his to bear, but hearing it out loud made it all the more real. "They are right to be mad at me," he muttered, knowing that he had let his stress and emotions get the best of him before the war.

As Tony continued to speak, Karito felt a lump form in his throat. "Everyone was sad after they heard of what happened. Wanda saw you like a sibling and it took Vision his undying attention to calm her down. Even Pietro returned after his search for people like the two of them. Rhodey was probably the maddest towards you, but that grudge lessened when he heard the truth. Steve... was hurt emotionally. He saw one of his best friends sacrifice himself for an entire country, only to later find out that you were alive but lost in the multiverse with no chance of return."

Tony's voice grew softer, and his eyes filled with a mixture of sadness and relief. "It's admirable that he hasn't given up on you. He believed you lived. I wish I could say the same. I was losing hope until now. I swear, you're like a cockroach. But it's good to have you back."

(Karito) His shoulders slumped in exhaustion. "God... what a mess... I... I need to fix this..." he muttered, feeling the weight of the situation settle heavily on him.

(Tony) "I have everyone's contacts," He reassured him. "We kind of separated after the War. Your sacrifice changed everyone's minds, and they all went their separate ways. I never told anyone about everyone's whereabouts."

(Karito) He nodded, grateful for Tony's support. "Alright... I... who do you think I should go to first?" he asked, feeling the nervousness creeping up on him.

(Tony) "Rhodes and Pepper," He answered, his voice gentle. "They're the closest."

(Karito) He swallowed hard. "Alright," he said, trying to steady his nerves.

(Tony) "Hey, it's gonna be alright," He reassured him. "The most they will call you is 'The Walking Dead'."

(Karito) He managed a small smile, the first he had felt in a long time. "Ah ah, very funny, Tony," he said with a hint of sarcasm.

(Tony) He chuckled, the sound warm and genuine. "Hey, I'm trying."

The two heroes stood up from the bench and walked towards Tony's sports car. The two got on as Tony drove Karito to their destination.

Karito sat in the passenger seat of Tony's car, his hands fidgeting in his lap. Tony noticed his friend's anxiety and decided to put on some music to lighten the mood.

(Tony) "Let's listen to something upbeat," He said as he scrolled through his playlist. "Ah, here we go. Black Betty by Spiderbait. This song always puts me in a good mood."

Tony turned up the volume, and the opening guitar riff blasted through the car's speakers. Karito looked at Tony with a raised eyebrow.

(Karito) "What is this?" he asked, unsure of what to make of the heavy rock music.

(Tony) "Just listen to the beat," He replied, nodding his head to the rhythm.

As the chorus kicked in, Tony started singing along, his voice surprisingly in tune with the music. Karito watched as Tony let go of his inhibitions and started belting out the lyrics with enthusiasm.

(Tony) "Whoa, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam Whoa, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam"

Karito couldn't help but smile as Tony continued to sing, his voice filling the car with energy. As the song progressed, Karito found himself tapping his foot to the beat, feeling his anxiety fade away with every passing moment.

Tony noticed the change in his friend's demeanor and grinned.

(Tony) "Sing with me, Karito!" he said, nudging his friend in the arm.

Karito hesitated at first, but then he joined in.

(Tony & Karito) "Whoa, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam Whoa, Black Betty, bam-ba-lam"

Their voices harmonized as they sang, and the two friends laughed and smiled as they let the music wash over them. It was a moment of pure joy and camaraderie, and Karito felt grateful to have Tony by his side.

As the song came to an end, Tony turned down the volume and looked over at Karito.

(Tony) "Feeling better?" he asked, a twinkle in his eye.

Karito nodded a genuine smile on his face.

(Karito) "Yeah, I am," he replied. "Thanks, Tony."

Tony patted Karito on the back.

(Tony) "Anytime, buddy," he said, pulling out onto the road. "Now let's go and meet Rhodes and Pepper."

Small time skip

Tony drove out of the city, taking a winding path towards the lush embrace of nature. As the hum of the engine lulled Karito into a relaxed state, Tony made a sudden turn, deftly navigating through the verdant forest until they reached a remote haven. It was clear that this was Tony's sanctuary - a finished, stately home deep in the woods, partially inspired by the events of Endgame. Karito couldn't help but marvel at the impressive structure, a symbol of Tony's success.

As they made their way towards the front door, Karito couldn't help but feel a tinge of anxiety wash over him. He noticed two cars parked outside the home, and he deduced that Tony had contacted Rhodes to join them. Tony wordlessly gestured for Karito to follow him, and he complied, silently observing the interior of the abode as he followed Tony through the spacious halls.

The living room was lit by the gentle glow of the setting sun, casting long shadows on the walls. As Karito entered, he was met with the intense gazes of Rhodey and Pepper, both of whom were clearly taken aback by his presence. Their expressions were a mix of shock and confusion, and it was clear that they were unsure of how to react to Karito's return.

(Rhodey) "Holy shit... he's actually alive..."

(Pepper) "O-Oh Karito... you haven't aged a day..."

(Karito) "Hey, my friends." Smiles "As you can see, I'm alive and well. The Spider-man is back."

(Rhodey) "We thought we lost you forever, man. It's good to have you back." He stood up to give Karito a hug. "Look... I'm sorry for what I said to you."

(Karito) "Returns the gesture "Hey, I understand. It's fine, don't worry about it."

(Pepper) "I'm so glad you're here, Karito." She smiled warmly at him and offered him a seat.

(Karito) "Thanks, Pepper." He sat down on the sofa and took a deep breath. "I know you must all have questions, and I'm willing to answer them. But first, I want to thank you all for forgiving me."

(Rhodey) "We forgave you a long time ago, Karito. We just wanted you to come back and be a part of the team again."

(Pepper) "And we're so glad you're here now." She sat down next to Karito and put a hand on his shoulder. "We're all family, Karito. We look out for each other, no matter what."

(Karito) "I couldn't agree more, Pepper. I missed you all so much. And I want to make it up to you guys, for everything that happened."

(Tony) "Well, that's a relief. I was starting to think I wasted all this money on the small welcome-back party." He joked as he entered the living room carrying a tray of snacks and drinks.

(Rhodey) "You threw a party, Tony? That's a bit much, don't you think?"

(Tony) "Hey, it's not every day that our resident wall-crawler comes back from the dead. We have to celebrate, right?" He grinned and placed the tray on the coffee table. "Now, who's up for some snacks?"

Tony, Pepper, and Rhodey stared at Karito with disbelief, after resuming the details of his adventures.

(Tony) "I knew it! I knew it! You're like a cockroach! You just can't die."

(Karito) "Yeah, well, I did get pretty close a few times," he joked, relieved to have his friends back in his life.

(Rhodey) "So where have you been, man? We all thought you were gone for good."

(Karito) "It's a long story. I was stuck in a multiverse for a while, but I eventually found my way back."

(Pepper) "Multiverse? That's crazy. How did you manage to come back?"

(Karito) "It's a long story, I had a few missions to complete around the multiverse but I managed to complete them and return."

(Tony) "Well, I'm just glad you're back. We've got a lot of catching up to do. Let's get some food and drinks."

As they all made their way to the kitchen, Karito couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. These were the people who had stood by him through thick and thin, who had risked everything for him, and who had never given up on him. He knew that he was lucky to have them in his life.

Over dinner, they laughed, joked, and reminisced about old times, catching up on everything that had happened since Karito had vanished. It was clear that they had all missed each other dearly, but Karito was grateful that they had finally been reunited.

As the night went on, the group settled into the living room, listening to Tony play his guitar and singing along to their favorite songs. They were a group of misfits who had found each other in the midst of chaos, but together they had formed a family, one that would never let anything tear them apart.

Karito knew that he had been given a second chance, and he was determined to make the most of it.

A few days later...

After the small reunion with Tony, Pepper, and Rhodes, Karito set out on a mission to locate Wanda and Vision. Through Tony's help, Karito was able to connect with Wanda via phone. At first, Wanda was hostile, but upon hearing Karito's voice, her demeanor did a complete 180, and she quickly provided their location in Edinburgh.

With the help of a private jet, courtesy of Tony, Karito made his way towards their location. During the flight, Karito took some time to freshen up, grab a bite to eat, and rest his eyes. The built-in AI of the jet alerted Karito of their arrival, and he made his way towards their location.

As he walked through the streets of Edinburgh, Karito's mind wandered back to the events of Infinity War. He found himself standing in the same plaza where Wanda and Vision had fought against the Black Order. Just as he was lost in thought, he heard an audible gasp beside him and turned to see Wanda and Vision, accompanied by Pietro, standing in shock.

Wanda slowly approached Karito and placed her hand on his cheek, still in disbelief.

Karito felt a wave of emotion as he saw Wanda's reaction, realizing how much he meant to her. She hugged him tightly, and Karito felt the warmth and comfort that only a sisterly embrace could bring.

Pietro, on the other hand, wasn't as emotional. He approached Karito and gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.

(Pietro) "You disappeared on us, man! We thought you were dead or something," he joked. Karito grinned and punched him back, playfully roughhousing like they always used to do.

(Vision) He as always, was the voice of reason. "It is good to see you again, Karito," he said calmly. "I must say, your disappearance did cause us great concern."

(Karito) He nodded, appreciating the concern. "I'm sorry to have worried you all. I had to... take care of some personal matters. But I'm back now, and I'm here to stay."

(Wanda) She pulled away from the embrace and wiped her tears. "We missed you so much," she said. "You were always there for us, through everything. It wasn't the same without you."

(Karito) He smiled, feeling the love and appreciation from his friends. "I missed you all too," he replied. "But we're all here now, and that's what matters. Let's catch up and have some fun, like old times."

And with that, the four friends spent the rest of the day catching up and reminiscing about the past. They talked about their battles, triumphs, and their losses. They shared stories of their adventures, both lighthearted and heartwrenching.

As the day drew to a close, Karito couldn't help but feel grateful for the bond he shared with his friends. He realized that they were more than just comrades-in-arms - they were his family. And no matter what the future held, he knew that they would always be there for each other.

After the emotional reunion, the three friends walked around the streets of Edinburgh, with Wanda and Vision giving Karito a tour of the city. They visited the famous Edinburgh Castle and walked along the Royal Mile, talking about their lives since they last saw each other. Wanda was eager to hear about Karito's experience in the past year, while Vision wanted to discuss philosophical ideas with him.

As they were walking, Pietro suddenly appeared from behind them, making funny faces and jokes. He suggested they play a game of tag, which quickly turned into a hilarious game of pranks on random pedestrians. They managed to get into trouble with the local authorities, but with their powers combined, they were able to escape successfully.

After their shenanigans, they all went to Vision and Wanda's home where Vision surprised them with a delicious dinner he prepared himself. Karito was surprised as he had no idea that Vision was such a great cook. They all sat down to eat and continued to catch up with each other's lives.

Wanda talked about how she's been working on controlling her powers and how she has grown to be more confident with them. Vision discussed his journey of self-discovery and how he's been exploring the world outside of the Avengers. Pietro, of course, shared his wild stories of traveling and the pranks he pulled along the way.

Karito shared his experiences of traveling through different dimensions and time periods, and how he discovered more about himself and his powers. They all listened intently to each other, laughing and joking around.

As the night went on, the conversation turned to more serious topics, like their fears and doubts about their future as Avengers. They all agreed that they needed to continue fighting for what was right, even if it meant facing their biggest challenges.

At the end of the night, they all hugged each other tightly, grateful for their friendship and the time they spent together. As Karito left their home, he felt a sense of belonging and contentment, knowing that he had friends who would always have his back no matter what challenges they faced in the future.

(Wanda) She smiled at Karito, her eyes filled with a mix of fondness and concern. "So, who are you planning to visit next, Karito?" she asked.

(Karito) Leaned back on his chair and looked up, his gaze far away. "Probably Steve. I have a hunch that he and Natasha are going around together. I might not get everyone, but it's a matter of time, y'know?"

(Pietro) He snorted, "Yeah, you just got back man. If I were you, I would have taken a few more days to relax before reconnecting with everyone."

(Karito) Shook his head. "I was thinking about it, but I want to get this over with. My head already hurts enough as it is."

(Vision) "Is everything alright, Karito?" He asked, his voice calm and measured.

(Karito) He hesitated for a moment before answering, "Yeah, everything's alright. Just a few things here and there, but it isn't that big of a deal."

(Wanda) She placed a hand on Karito's arm. "Karito, if you need help, you know you can rely on us."

(Karito) He smiled at Wanda, his eyes warm and grateful. "Trust me, Wanda, I know that very well. Just because it's been 22 years since I left doesn't mean I forgot who I can rely on."

(Vision) "It's pretty absurd the fact that in your point of view, you have been gone for 22 years. And as Wanda said, you haven't changed physically. It's like you never even left," He remarked.

(Karito) "That probably has to do because I reincarnated," He replied nonchalantly.

(Pietro) His eyes widened in disbelief, "What?"

(Wanda) She rolled her eyes, "Why is it that the craziest things that come from Karito's mouth, I instantly believe him because... you know... it's him."

(Vision) "I've grown accustomed to Karito's bizarre life," He added with a small smile.

(Karito) He chuckled softly, "I don't know how to feel about that."

(Pietro) He interrupted, "What's next? Star Wars?"

(Karito) Shook his head, "I would rather not."

(Pietro) "Wait... it exists?" He asked, his eyes widening in disbelief.

(Karito) "Of course, you idiot! It's the multiverse!" He retorted.

(Pietro) "Oh yeah, I forgot," He said sheepishly.

(Karito) "We talked about this, man," Said with a facepalm.

(Pietro) "Hey, I've been busy, okay!" He protested.

(Karito) "What? Getting some hookers in your apartment?" Teased.

(Pietro) "Aye! Don't spoil my secrets! But no!" He replied, laughing.

(Karito) "Crazy bastard, "Smiles

(Pietro) "Fricking cockroach," He shot back.

(Wanda) She sighed, "That's enough, you two. I swear, it's always chaos with you two around."

Karito and Pietro exchanged smug looks.

(Karito) "Anyways, I'll keep in touch. I'll go and find Steve and enlighten his boomer side," He said, grinning mischievously.

(Wanda) She giggled, "You do that."

Karito rose from the dinner table and gracefully made his way to the exit door. Wanda, Vision, and Pietro accompanied him, silently acknowledging the weight of the impending farewell. As they reached the threshold, they embraced one another, savoring the warmth of their shared bond. Karito then turned to face his friends, his eyes glistening with unspoken emotions.

After departing from his dear comrades, Karito boarded Tony's private jet, his mind drifting to the latest developments in the world of Marvel. His gaming system alerted him to the presence of Dark grunts menacing the world, a consequence of the ongoing events of "The Black Widow". Though he hoped that the enemies weren't too vexatious and remained true to the Marvel Theme, he couldn't help but recall the time he fought an Evolve in Civil War.

As he inquired about the current status of the ongoing story, his AI informed him that it was in the end phase. With a sigh of contentment, Karito realized that he wouldn't have to relive the events of that movie, which he didn't particularly enjoy. With a renewed sense of purpose, he set the course to the location where the events were taking place, determined to make a difference in his own way.

A few hours later...

Karito gazed out the window, his eyes fixated on the colossal spherical castle that hovered ominously in the sky, the very same location where the climactic final battle of the movie was to unfold. As he let out a sigh of resignation, his symbiote suit coiled around him, seamlessly transforming into his signature Spider-Man attire. With plans to grab a quick bite before venturing out to scout for the Dark grunts that had suddenly appeared, Karito was suddenly jolted from his thoughts as his spider senses went haywire, prompting him to react with lightning-fast reflexes, creating a protective web shield around himself. Before he could fully comprehend the situation, he was forcefully tackled from behind, sending him hurtling through the plane with great velocity.

Notification: Enemy Identified...

Phantom Wraiths from the Phantom Zone.

(Spider-Man) "AW COME ON!"

(Dark Wraith) Screeches

(Spider-Man) "Fuck off! You're supposed to be in DC not Marvel you ugly fuck!"

In-game call from Chrona...

(Chrona) On coms "Karito I sensed a disturbance in the Marvel Cosmology."

(Spider-Man) "Yeah, that disturbance is trying to rip my face off! Fuck off!" Uses his Venom Punch but his fist just goes through "FUCK! I FORGOT ABOUT THAT!"

(Chrona) On coms "Combine it with your hacking! It should nullify its effects of being untouchable!"

As per Chrona's recommendation, Spider-Man deftly combined his potent Venom Punch with his exceptional hacking skills. The moment his fist made contact with the Wraith's face, a tremendous surge of energy was unleashed, effectively wiping the malevolent entity out of existence, as if it had never existed in the first place. The Wraith's form disintegrated into nothingness, leaving behind only a faint residue of its otherworldly essence, which quickly dissipated into the ether.

(Spider-Man) "Wow, I can do that."

(Chrona) On coms "Well, it was just a grunt. And your hacking abilities are more like editor powers but nerfed due to your level. Also, more wraiths are incoming. Keep them from disturbing the plot of the Black Widow movie."

(Spider-Man) Whines in annoyance

Spider-Man's spider-sense tingled with the arrival of the Wraiths, dark portals tearing through the fabric of space with destructive force. With quick reflexes, he launched himself towards the horde, utilizing his lateral repulsion to rocket through the air. Charging a Mega Venom Blast, he infused his hacking skill to make an impact on the untouchable Wraiths. The moment the horde and the hero clashed, a cataclysmic event took place. The sky transformed into a vivid shade of yellow and the clouds dispersed in all directions. The shockwave generated was so powerful that the nearby floating castle was pushed back by its force. The Wraiths wailed in agony as they were disintegrated by Spider-Man's explosive power. The aftermath was staggering. Once the yellow glow dissipated, the hero found himself in the middle of the destruction, surrounded by the remnants of the Wraiths. His symbiotic wings kept him suspended in the air as he surveyed the aftermath of the battle.

(Spider-Man) "Hey, Chrona. Maybe you should become my new companion."

(Chrona) On call "You mean take Kara's place?"

(Spider-Man) "Hey, I thought that it would be less boring than wandering around in the Nexus."

(Chrona) On call "Hmmm, true. I accept then!"

(Spider-Man) "...That was too easy."

(Chrona) "Well, like you said. I'm bored all the time. Before I was called you I was talking to Peter almost the entire time."

(Spider-Man) "Already hitting it off, huh?"

(Chrona) On call "W-WHAT?! UH! N-NO! Don't tease me, hmph!"

(Spider-Man) "Your reactions are adorable, I'm going to enjoy your company."

(Chrona) "You're so mean..." Pouts

Spider-Man gazed at the crumbling edifice before him, questioning the extent of his contribution to the downfall of the imposing structure. Despite the resounding boom that echoed across the expanse, he dismissed the thought as insignificant, as the fortress was doomed to collapse regardless. What truly mattered was ensuring the survival of Natasha and her sister amidst the chaos. As he continued to observe the unfolding mayhem with a stoic countenance, a rip in space materialized behind Taskmaster, unleashing a swarm of malevolent wraiths that began to overtake her. Reacting with lightning-fast reflexes, Spider-Man propelled himself towards the embattled combatant with his lateral repulsion. In a blur of motion, he swept Natasha off her feet, cradling her in a bridal embrace. Her expression of disbelief melted into one of recognition as she beheld her savior, clad in his distinctive suit.

(Black Widow) She was taken aback at the sudden appearance of Spider-Man, her voice laced with a mix of disbelief and bewilderment as she stuttered out his name, "K-Karito?! How are you-?!"

(Spider-Man) He had no time for pleasantries and cut her off, urgency coloring his voice as he pressed on with his question, "No time, where's your sister?"

(Black Widow) She was taken aback by Spider-Man's brusque tone, and couldn't help but be a little defensive, "What? How do you-?"

(Spider-Man)He didn't mince words and pressed on, cutting her off mid-sentence, "Where is your sister? Answer me!" His tone was commanding and brooked no argument.

(Black Widow) Flinching at his assertiveness, she pointed in the direction of her falling sister, her voice shaking, "U-Um... She's still falling over there!"

Silent determination etched on his face, Spider-Man launched himself towards Yelena with unparalleled speed, leaving Black Widow to gaze at him in stunned admiration. As the hero wrapped his powerful arms around Black Widow, ensuring her safety, his webbing snaked out to ensnare Yelena and pull her towards him with a graceful precision. Caught off guard, Yelena's initial confusion was replaced with cautious wariness, poised to defend herself until she saw her beloved sister clutching onto Spider-Man for support.

(Black Widow) "Yelena, don't worry he's... a friend!"

(Yelena) "Uhh... okay."

(Spider-Man) "Hold on you two, it's gonna be a hard landing!"

The symbiote's protective embrace encased the two spies in a cocoon-like shield as Spider-Man descended to the ground with remarkable force. The sheer impact of his landing caused the floor to splinter and crack in a chaotic display of destruction. The two women, Yelena and Natasha, gazed at the web-slinger with a mix of alarm and anxiety, fearing the worst for their savior. Yet, to their surprise, the hero emerged from the shattered floor unscathed, demonstrating his incredible resilience and strength.

(Spider-Man) "Wow, that gave me goosebumps," he said, trying to play it cool despite the gravity of the situation.

(Yelena) She seemed to be impressed, "I like him," she said with a grin.

(Black Widow) Couldn't help but roll her eyes. "Are you serious, Yelena?"

(Yelena) She wasn't deterred, "What? You think landing from hundredths of feet in the air would kill someone, but he landed like a cat."

(Spider-Man) He interrupted their banter, "You two okay?" as he released them from his hold.

(Black Widow) "We're fine," She replied, still a bit shaken from the fall.

(Yelena) "Better than fine with you here," She chimed in.

(Spider-Man) He turned to walk away, "We can continue this after I'm done dealing with Taskmaster."

(Black Widow) "How do you-?" She began to ask, but Spider-Man cut her off.

(Spider-Man) "Did you forget who I am, Natasha?"

(Black Widow) "Oh... right..." she trailed off, watching him walk away towards where Taskmaster had crashed.

(Yelena) She couldn't help but be curious about their history, "I don't know how to feel when you're this submissive, Nat."

(Black Widow) "It's complicated," She replied, "but he never did anything of that sort. He's too kind for that."

(Yelena) "Then what's the problem?" She pressed.

(Black Widow) "It's just that our friendship is pretty shaky after the Civil War," She explained with a hint of sadness.

(Yelena) Her eyes widened, "Wait, he's the one that beat everyone by himself in the airport?"

(Black Widow) "Mhm," She nodded.

(Yelena) Her expression shifted, "Oh... Uh... He doesn't look that scary right now, though."

(Black Widow) She sighed, "I hope it stays that way."

Spider-Man strode purposefully towards the crumbling ruins of a once-great castle, his enhanced senses keenly attuned to any threats in the area. Suddenly, the now-possessed Taskmaster took aim and fired with her sniper rifle at the hero. With lightning reflexes, Spider-Man tilted his head to the side, dodging the bullet by mere millimeters. But the impact of the bullet was not without consequences, as it exploded an entire pile of cement upon impact. Spider-Man instantly realized that the bullet had been imbued with the Dark energy of the possessing wraith, making it far more dangerous than a regular bullet. He made a mental note of this, knowing that his symbiote's enhanced durability might not be enough to protect him from this new threat.

Taskmaster quickly switched from the sniper rifle to a machine gun, anticipating that Spider-Man's lightning-fast reflexes would easily dodge the former. But the hero was no less prepared, his enhanced senses and quick thinking allowing him to process the incoming barrage of bullets with calculated precision. With deft movements, Spider-Man deftly maneuvered past the bullets with such speed that it appeared he was moving in slow motion. In a sudden burst of agility, he lunged towards Taskmaster and delivered a devastating sucker punch that sent the villain flying through a wall of piled debris. Taskmaster writhed in pain, dazed and confused, trying to comprehend the lightning-quick movements of his opponent.

(Spider-Man) "Hey, Taskmaster. I know your weakness so you might as well just give up."

( Incomplete-DarkTaskmaster) "..."

(Spider-Man) "Shit, right. How could I forget the mistake of your own creation in the MCU? I even forgot there was a Taskmaster in the MCU, how crazy is that."

(Incomplete-DarkTaskmaster) Growls in anger

(Spider-Man) "Bitch, hurry up and let me kill you. Your mere existence is laughable and I'll be doing everyone in this dimension and the real world a favor. You're not even half the Taskmaster from the comics."

Spider-Man stood in a battle stance, his mind clear and focused as Taskmaster charged him with a flurry of copied martial arts techniques. The hero remained unfazed, knowing that the only way to defeat the skilled villain was to go beyond human limits. In a quick display of his enhanced strength, Spider-Man used his webs to ensnare the debris scattered around them, creating a makeshift wrecking ball that he wielded with ease. Taskmaster copied his opponent's past evasive maneuvers to dodge the incoming barrage, but the villain made a critical error - while Taskmaster was still recovering from the dodge, Spider-Man was already delivering a venomous punch to the face, sending the foe flying into the walls of the crumbling castle. As Taskmaster crumpled to the ground, Spider-Man looked down upon his defeated foe, ready for whatever came next.

(Black Widow) "W-Wait! Don't kill her, please!"

(Spider-Man) "...What?"

(Black Widow) "Please... whatever possessed her... get rid of it and let her live..."

(Spider-Man) "If it were anyone else I would've ignored such a request. But your wish is my command."

(Black Widow) "Thank you, Karito..."

Spider-Man let out a heavy sigh, acquiescing to Black Widow's request to spare Taskmaster's life. He approached the defeated villain and, utilizing his impressive hacking skills, swiftly lifted the malicious entity that had taken possession of the mercenary's body. The dark wraiths let out ear-piercing screeches as Spider-Man effortlessly ripped them from their host and crushed them into oblivion. With a sense of satisfaction, the hero rose to his feet, extending his arms upward. With a mere flick of his finger, he freed every spy that had been under the insidious control of the Red Room, their minds now liberated from the clutches of their former captors.

(Black Widow) "Karito... you-?"

(Spider-Man) "Yeah, I freed everyone from that asshole. You don't have to worry about them now, they are free."

(Black Widow) "Thank you... Thank you so much..."

(Spider-Man) "Never say I don't do anything for you." Walks towards her "Are you okay?"

(Black Widow) "Yeah... I just..."

(Spider-Man) "Feel bad because of how things were left out between us?"

(Black Widow) "Yeah... I... had this guilt for an entire year. I thought you died and I was never going to get the chance to apologize to you..."

(Spider-Man) Gives her a head pat and smirks "Nat, did you forget who I am?"

(Black Widow) Giggles "No... I'm so dumb. I should've known that you just refused to stay down for good."

(Spider-Man) "Exactly." Smiles "Want to start over again?" Extends his hand

(Black Widow) Sad smile "I was a terrible friend for being afraid and distant from you... but I grew past that over the past year. The real question is if you want me to still be your friend." Looks down in sadness

(Spider-Man) "I had more than enough time to think about it. More than you think, Nat. So of course I still want us to continue this friendship." Shakes his hand waiting for her "So~?"

(Black Widow) Giggles "Okay, okay." Shakes hands with Spider-Man "Thank you for accepting me."

(Spider-Man) "No problem, Nat." Starts walking away "You have my number, so call me whenever you're bored. I'm going to visit Steve now."

(Black Widow) "Okay! Good luck! It was good to see you again!"

(Spider-Man) "Likewise." Disappears

Black Widow gazed at the spot where Spider-Man had vanished with a sense of fulfillment. At long last, she was free of the burden of guilt that had weighed heavily on her conscience regarding the complicated friendship between herself and Karito. She had feared that she would never have the opportunity to make amends with him, but he had surprised her with his kind words and understanding demeanor. She was grateful to have such a reasonable and empathetic individual as a friend.

Her reverie was abruptly interrupted when her sister Yelena came rushing toward her, appearing as though she were searching for someone. Black Widow's brow furrowed with confusion, and she inquired as to what had happened to cause such a sudden outburst.

(Black Widow) "Uhh... Yelena? Are you, good?"

(Yelena) "Where is he?" Gasping for air

(Black Widow) "Who?"

(Yelena) "Spider-Man! Duh!"

(Black Widow) "Why are you asking?"

(Yelena) "I want his number."

(Black Widow) "Why?"

(Yelena) "The hell do you mean, 'why'? Because he's hot! I've seen him around the news and I ain't missing that fresh meat!"

(Black Widow) "He left already."

(Yelena) Unholy Russian curses

After a protracted wait, Karito finally acquired Steve's confidential phone number from Tony. As the phone rang, he anticipated the former Avenger's response with bated breath, sensing a hint of animosity in the way Steve answered. It seemed apparent that the battle-hardened warrior had no inkling of Karito's identity, and his initial reaction hinted at an underlying hostility.

(Steve) On call "Who is this?"

(Karito) On call "Yo mama."

(Steve) "..."

(Karito) "You ain't scaring me mother fucker. Where are you? So we can meet up."

(Steve) "K-Karito?"

(Karito) "Who else would talk shit when you are being as hissy as an orange cat?"

(Steve) Laughs "Oh God, of course. I knew you were alive." Sighs in relief "We can meet up in Brooklyn, I'm gonna be low profile so I'll come to you."

(Karito) "I can just change your appearance with my powers."

(Steve) "Let me guess, you've gotten more powerful than before?"

(Karito) "You have no idea. I can break your ankles in a basketball game quite easily."

(Steve) Chuckles "I believe you. Anyways, I'll be there in a few minutes. I'm not that far."

(Karito) "You were around the neighborhood?"

(Steve) "Yeah, I've been going everywhere doing odd jobs and hiding. Y'know the drill."

(Karito) "Yup, I do. Anyways, I'll see you in a bit then."

(Steve) "Alright, buddy." Hangs up

Determined to take matters into his own hands, Karito opted not to wait any longer and instead utilized his exceptional hacking abilities to generate a portal in mid-air. With a precision honed by years of practice, he expertly adjusted the portal's dimensions to create a comfortable passage for himself, then promptly stepped through it. The next moment, he found himself atop a towering building in Brooklyn, his gaze fixed on the sprawling metropolis stretching out below him.

(Karito) "Well. Let's see where he is. System, GPS."

Notification: How may I assist you, sir?

(Karito) "Locate, Steve Rogers."

Notification: Search confirmed, sending coordinates...

Karito's keen senses allowed him to track the waypoint displayed on his advanced gaming system, and he effortlessly swung through the city with his web-slinging abilities. The waypoint led him to an alleyway where he spotted a heat signature at the end of it. With his superior visual acuity, he quickly identified the figure as none other than Steve Rogers, the legendary Captain America. As the two friends made their way toward each other, they shared a quick, yet heartfelt embrace. Steve couldn't hide his relief at seeing Karito again, after a whole year of absence.

(Steve) "It's really good to see you again, my friend."

(Karito) "Likewise. So how have you been doing?"

(Steve) "My friend, we have a lot to catch on to." Smiles

Karito spent the entire day catching up with Steve Rogers, or more commonly known as Captain America, after being reunited with him in Brooklyn. The two of them had much to discuss, and Karito was eager to hear what Steve had been up to since he last saw him.

The day began with a walk around Brooklyn, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. Steve showed Karito some of his favorite places to visit, such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Prospect Park. They talked about the changes that had occurred in the city since Karito's disappearance, and how much Steve missed his old home.

After a while, they decided to head to a nearby gym for a workout. Karito was curious about what new moves Steve had come up with and he was more than willing to demonstrate. They sparred for a while, with Steve teaching Karito some new techniques to improve his combat skills while the latter also did the same.

Once they were finished, they headed to a nearby diner for lunch. As they ate, they talked about their shared experiences as superheroes, and how they both struggled to balance their personal lives with their duties as defenders of the planet.

After lunch, Steve took Karito to a local museum where they spent hours exploring and discussing art and history. Karito was fascinated by the exhibits, and Steve was happy to share his knowledge with him.

The evening came too soon, and the two of them headed to a nearby bar for a drink. They talked late into the night, reminiscing about old times and discussing their future plans. Karito was grateful to have his friend back in his life, and Steve was happy to have someone to confide in.

((Steve) "I must express my gratitude, Karito."

(Karito) "For what? Diverting your mind from life's burdens?"

(Steve) "Precisely. It's been challenging, as you know. You've had it just as rough, traveling through universes and lending a hand. I'm simply overjoyed that you made it back alive."

(Karito) "Don't worry, old friend. I'm not leaving anytime soon."

(Steve) "Is it even possible for you to die?" He chuckles.

(Karito) "I suppose if I really put my mind to it, I might find out."

(Steve) "I won't allow it. I prefer to have you alive and well."

(Karito) "You always despised my sense of humor." He smirks.

(Steve) "Because it can go from harmless to morbid in a heartbeat if you so desire."

(Karito) "You got me there."

(Steve) "And those endless Rick Roll memes you used to send me became so irritating, I thought I'd never hear 'Never Gonna Give You Up' again."

(Karito) "I have that effect on people." He snickers.

(Steve) He stands up, ready to depart. "In any case, thank you for spending the day with me."(Karito) "It was my pleasure. What are friends for?"

(Steve) "That's True. Thank you."

The two comrades shared a final embrace, and Karito watched as Steve's figure receded into the distance. He stood alone, lost in thought as he aimlessly wandered the bustling metropolis. His mind was consumed with the looming threat of the impending war, scheduled to erupt in a year's time.

During his extensive travels across the multiverse, Karito had meticulously devised numerous contingency plans to circumvent the apocalyptic endgame. However, there remained one pressing task at hand: disseminating these strategies to his fellow superheroes. With the Darks likely to intervene and a fortified Thanos looming on the horizon, Karito recognized the imperative need to prepare his comrades for the impending clash.

As he contemplated the impending war, Karito was struck by the realization that two separate dimensions might converge, radically altering the original Infinity War storyline. Drawing upon his vast knowledge of the multiverse, Karito formulated a master plan to mitigate this risk and emerge victorious. His mind firmly set on achieving victory, Karito set out to share his strategies with his fellow heroes, determined to secure a brighter future for all.

Karito continued walking with determination and opened a portal to Greenwich, England in hopes to locate Doctor Strange.

Karito strode through the bustling streets of Greenwich, his eyes fixated on the towering structure before him. Its Gothic architecture loomed over the surrounding buildings as if it was a guardian of secrets and mysteries. The Sanctum Sanctorum's intricate carvings and ornate decorations hinted at the powerful magic that lay within its walls. As Karito approached the entrance, he was struck by the palpable aura of mysticism that radiated from the building.

Stepping inside, Karito's senses were immediately assaulted by a cacophony of scents, sounds, and sights. The air was heavy with the fragrance of incense and exotic herbs, and the walls were adorned with tapestries and paintings depicting arcane symbols and ancient gods. The Sanctum Sanctorum was like a labyrinth, with countless corridors, rooms, and chambers that twisted and turned in a seemingly random fashion.

Karito made his way through the maze-like interior, his footsteps echoing in the silent halls. He passed by shelves filled with leather-bound tomes and ancient scrolls, and cabinets containing all manner of magical artifacts and curiosities. As he walked deeper into the Sanctum, the ambiance shifted from cozy and warm to ominous and foreboding, and the faint whispers of forgotten spells and incantations could be heard in the distance.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of wandering, Karito arrived at the main chamber, where Doctor Strange was sitting in a meditative trance. The room was bathed in an otherworldly glow, emanating from a massive crystal that hovered in the center of the ceiling. The walls were lined with bookshelves that stretched to the ceiling, and strange, glowing symbols adorned the floor.

(Doctor Strange) He greeted the Guardian Karito with a polite nod and extended his hand in welcome. "It is a pleasure to meet the Guardian that protects the Omniverse," he said in a formal tone.

(Karito) He returned the gesture, their grip firm and confidence. "Of course, you know about me," He responded with a hint of amusement.

(Doctor Strange) His expression turned serious, and his gaze grew distant as if lost in thought. "There are tales of protectors that go around multiple realities and cleanse them from any sort of corruption done by the forces of darkness," he began. "But after an unknown reason, the Guardians just disappeared, and the Darks consumed most of the worlds like a tsunami."

(Karito) He listened with a heavy heart, knowing all too well the extent of the devastation caused by the Darks. "Yeah, I heard it was a war between the two factions," He said, his voice tinged with bitterness. "It sucks that I'm the only one alive to stabilize the fabric of existence itself."

(Doctor Strange) Leaned back in his chair and regarded Karito with a mix of curiosity and concern. "I'm sure you aren't here to discuss your job, Guardian. Is there anything that is of concern?" he inquired, his eyes piercing.

(Karito) He took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts. "In one year, a threat called Thanos will invade us. He will be searching for the infinity stones and wipe out half of the universe," He stated grimly. "But my suspicion is that the Darks will intervene and complicate things a lot more than necessary, so I need every single protector on this earth to join the cause. I don't care what methods are used to make them join. It's either help fight a threat that will affect everything in the universe or do nothing and pray that we are successful."

(Doctor Strange) He nodded in agreement, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. "I don't see you lying about something as grave as this," he stated with a solemn expression. "After all, you deal with threats that affect reality itself, and if you say that you need our help for this war, then it's no laughing matter." Standing up, he moved to the window overlooking the city, his hands clasped behind his back. "To my knowledge, we are in possession of two infinity stones."

(Karito) His eyes widened with surprise. "The others are around the galaxy," he explained. "We will most likely be facing Thanos when he's in possession of four infinity stones."

(Doctor Strange) He turned back to face Karito, his expression grim. "Well, that complicates things," he said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "And it's going to get even worse if the Darks fuse two universes, affecting time and space. Our chances of winning when that occurs are going to be random."

(Karito) He nodded in agreement, a feeling of unease settling in his stomach.

(Doctor Strange) "I see where your worries lie, Guardian," He said, his voice low and measured. "I will inform everyone who is capable of fighting. What will you do in the meantime?"

(Karito) He stood up, his face set in determination. "What else? Preparing for war," he stated resolutely, his eyes meeting Doctor Strange's with unwavering intensity. "We must gather all the protectors, strengthen our defenses, and be ready to face whatever comes our way."

A Few Weeks Later...

Doctor Strange stood before the assembled heroes, a grave expression etched onto his face. The air was tense, with each hero braced for whatever news the Sorcerer Supreme was about to deliver. He cleared his throat, the sound echoing in the large hall.

(Doctor Strange) "Friends," he began, "I have called you all here because we face a dire threat, one that threatens the Universe itself. In one year's time, Thanos, a being of immense power, will come for the Infinity Stones. He plans to use them to wipe out half of all life in the universe."

Gasps of shock and horror rippled through the assembled heroes. Doctor Strange held up his hand to forestall any further outbursts.

(Doctor Strange) "But that's not all," he continued. "Our intelligence indicates that Thanos's forces will attack Wakanda, due to the fact that it's the only place that can protect Vision. We must divide our forces to protect both Vision and Wakanda while also confronting Thanos on his own turf."

(Steve) "What's our plan?" He asked, his voice taut with tension.

(Doctor Strange) "Our plan is simple," Doctor Strange replied. "We will take too long to find the rest of the infinity stone around the universe. We have two of the Stones in our possession, and the others are scattered throughout the galaxy. With Karito's help, we will improve ourselves to face him. He has many helpful resources that will be able to make us have a fighting chance against Thanos even with most of the stones in his possession."

(Karito) He stepped forward. "But we must be prepared for the worst. The Darks may intervene and complicate things. Our chances of winning when that occurs are going to be random. We need to be ready to fight with all our might."

(Doctor Strange) "Karito is right," He said. "We must be prepared for anything. We need to train, hone our skills, and work together if we are to defeat Thanos and his minions. I suggest we split into two groups, one to protect Wakanda and the other to take on Thanos directly."

(T'Challa) "I'll go to Wakanda," He said, his voice steady. "I'll protect my home and the Mind Stone."

(Wanda) "I'll go with you," She added. "I owe it to Vision to protect him."

(Tony) "I'll go to Titan," He said, his jaw set. "I've been fighting Thanos in my nightmares for six years. It's time to face him in the real world."

(Peter) "We'll go with you," He said, looking up at Iron Man with determination in his eyes. "We won't let you face him alone."

The group murmured their agreement, and Karito stepped forward again.

(Karito) "We'll need a base of operations, somewhere to plan and prepare. The Avengers compound and Wakanda are the perfect places for that. We can train, share knowledge and intel, and make sure we're all on the same page."

The group nodded in agreement, and Doctor Strange gave a small smile.

(Doctor Strange) "Then it's settled. We'll meet at the Avengers compound in two weeks' time. Until then, train hard, and be prepared for anything."

The heroes dispersed, each heading off to their own corners of the world to train and prepare for the coming battle. At the appointed time, they all converged on the Avengers compound, ready to face whatever was to come.

Karito led the group in a series of intense training sessions, pushing them to their limits and beyond. Each hero had their own training montage, showcasing their unique skills and abilities. Captain America trained his shield skills. Scarlet Witch worked on her telekinetic abilities, and Spider-Man practiced his acrobatics.

As the days wore on, the group grew closer, bonding over their shared purpose and the knowledge that they were all that stood between the universe and destruction. They shared

...

One Year Later

The Nexus Of Knowledge and Imagination

The room was filled with an array of training equipment, but amidst it all, stood a lone figure whose fierce expression mirrored the seriousness of the upcoming war. The man's brawny arms flexed as he lifted weights that weighed tons upon tons, with each repetition displaying his raw strength. As he finished his last bench press, he let out a deep breath, causing the bar to drop with a loud clang that echoed throughout the room. He stood up, his muscles bulging, and reached for a bottle of water. In one swift motion, he downed the entire bottle, and with a quick crunch, the plastic container was set ablaze and disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Without skipping a beat, the man walked towards a modified punching bag made out of Vibranium, courtesy of Chrona's influence. His attacks were relentless, each punch causing a loud clanging noise that pierced the air. The bag held up against his blows for a while, but with a final punch enveloped in blue electricity, it tore, and his hand peeked through the other side. As he withdrew his bloodied knuckles from the hole, he examined the damage before his healing factor quickly restored them to their previous state.

Stepping back, the man's gaze remained fixated on the now-worn-out punching bag, which was marked with dried blood. He walked towards a nearby chair and draped a towel over the back of his neck, his expression somber. As he pondered his next move, Chrona entered the room, bearing a new set of clothes. Her eyes were drawn towards the bloodied punching bag, and she regarded her friend with concern, though the knowledge of his healing factor eased her worries.

(Chrona) "Karito, here are your clothes."

(Karito) "Thanks, Chrona. How's Peter?"

(Chrona) "He's doing just fine with his training regime. I told him what he needs to do and he's doing it accordingly."

(Karito) "Thanks."

(Chrona) "You should shower and get ready. Time is almost up."

(Karito) "I know." Stands up and grabs the set of clothes "Thank you so much for everything."

(Chrona) "It's no poblem, Karito. You guys were doing your best and I wanted to support you in your mission."

(Karito) "Still, I appreciate it."

(Chrona) "How are the other's doing?"

(Karito) Checks his party system "They are doing great actually. We can pull this off if we keep this up."

(Chrona) Smiles "I'm glad then. I'll give you some privacy then." Waves and leaves

Karito took a deep breath as he watched Chrona leave the room, his thoughts drifting to the impending battle against Thanos. He closed his eyes and focused, using a mental command to transform the room into a luxurious bathroom. Stripping off his sweaty clothes, Karito revealed a perfectly sculpted physique, every muscle rippling with power and readiness.

He stepped into the shower, the warm water cascading over his skin, easing away the tension from his body. With a practiced eye, Karito examined his many scars, each one a testament to the battles he had fought and won. He sighed, lost in the memories of his past victories and losses, before finally snapping back to the present.

He took his time washing his body, relishing in the feeling of cleanliness and purity. As he stepped out of the shower, he donned casual clothes, feeling more relaxed and refreshed than he had in days.

Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted Peter, fresh from his own shower and dressed in new clothes. The two shared a nod of mutual respect and understanding before making their way to the portal that would take them to the Avengers Compound. The weight of the upcoming battle loomed heavy on Karito's mind, but he knew he was ready to face whatever came his way.

The Avengers Compound was filled to the brim with heroes of all kinds, each one in their own unique attire. Karito stood at the front of the room, looking out over the assembled forces. The atmosphere was tense, everyone knew what was coming. This was the final meeting before they went to war against Thanos.

(Karito) "Friends," He began, his voice ringing out with authority. "We stand here today, together, as a force against the greatest threat the universe has ever known. We have all seen the devastation that the Darks and their forces have wrought. We have all felt the loss of loved ones, of friends, of family. But today, we have a chance to change that. We have a chance to make things right. To save not just our world, but every world in the universe."

The room was silent as Karito continued to speak, his words inspiring hope in even the most hardened of hearts.

(Karito) "We all have our own reasons for fighting. But today, let us fight not just for ourselves, but for those who cannot fight. For those who have lost everything. For those who have yet to be born. We fight for a better future, one where everyone can live in peace and safety. We fight for the hope of a brighter tomorrow."

Karito's words echoed throughout the room, his voice filled with conviction and passion. The heroes before him listened intently, their eyes fixed on their leader.

(Karito) "And so, my friends, as we go into battle, remember this: we are not just fighting for ourselves, we are fighting for everyone. We are fighting for hope. We are fighting for the future. And we will not stop until we have achieved victory."

The atmosphere in the room was tense as Karito descended from the podium, the weight of the impending battle heavy on his broad shoulders. His footsteps echoed through the silent room as he made his way toward the computer console, his keen eyes scanning the data with precision. The digital screen flickered to life, displaying a warning signal that sent a shiver down his spine. A flying object was approaching their planet. He knew exactly what it was and turned to the group of heroes.

With a heavy sigh, he clenched his fist and raised it in the air. His voice boomed through the compound as he rallied the troops.

(Karito) "Avengers! This is it! The moment we've all been training for. We stand here as the last line of defense for the people of this planet. We may be outnumbered, outmatched, and outgunned, but we have something that they don't: heart, courage, and the will to fight until our dying breaths."

With a final roar of determination, Karito slammed his hand onto the console, and the room erupted in cheers and battle cries. They were ready for the fight of their lives.

(Karito) "Let us go forth, and bring hope to the universe."
