The dual Rookies sped across the surface of the stump, weapons held at the ready as they closed the distance between them and Meopia. Electrified vines slammed around them, forcing them to weave back, forth, up and down in order to avoid getting smashed into the wooden floor. Needless to say, it was far more difficult than any time previously, the thick vegetation moving and shifting much faster and striking with enough strength to create miniature earthquakes. While not truly lethal compared to what the two could endure, it wasn't going to feel pleasant to get hit.
"Water Manifest," Mako spun his staff quickly, blades of water coalescing on the weapons blunt ends. "Whiplash!"
