Wu Long, Nie Guanting, Old Yen, Butler Bang, and Kwon Qianhong arrived at a slightly remote and lower in height mountain which was still within the Grand Formation. It's top was cleared out, making a sort of a platform.
This place's barrier formation, although as invisible as the one over the whole territory, was distinctly different, as it stretched out into the sky in a straight column, and the dome of the Grand Formation was circling around it, not covering the upper part. Like a chimney sticking out of a house.
These were Tribulation Grounds, a place any decent force in Boundless Profound World and higher was almost guaranteed to have.
With this, they no longer needed to cause a storm to conceal their Heavenly Tribulations.
Of course, Wu Long still was present to ensure no one was lost to the Heavenly Tribulation, but in case of Nie Guanting he just watched, not having to step in to help.
