Back on the ground floor of Castle Bodenplatte, Lady Auguste led Razaranje deeper still down another staircase that ran far under the earth. They emerged into a long, cold, damp, and dimly-lit room with a wide, high ceiling, where a row of wooden doors lined each side of the expansive hall. Made out of dark-grey brick, the miserable dungeon had stains of dried blood along the floor, and as the god walked deeper inside, he could hear distant moans or crying coming from behind some of the wood doors, where peering through a small barred window at the top, Raz could see that behind each door was a tiny cell that housed a shackled young man. Passing several of them, the god could see that some of the men bore fresh injuries, hence the moaning and groaning.
"What did you bring me down here for? To show me your collection?" Raz asked, only semi-interested as he inspected a rack that contained sinister looking equipment, such as pliers, chains, whips, and blunt knives.
The baroness ignored him, however, and continued walking to the end of the long hallway. Shrugging, the muscular deity followed, sensing someone else towards the back wall as his keen hearing picked up ragged breathing and a racing heartbeat. Arriving at where the scarlet-clad woman had stopped, Raz was indifferent upon seeing a short iron cross with a man chained to it chest-first. His short, dark hair was plastered to his head by sweat, and his fit, albeit slender body was breathing heavily, evidently in pain due to how freshly-whipped his back was, the torn flesh and peeled layers of skin slowly oozing blood. His body was bruised as well, and he even had a fat lip from apparently taking many blows to the face.
"Heh, what did this poor bastard do? He piss you off or something?" Razaranje asked, causing the restrained man to turn his head to look at the god curiously.
"Slave 28 here has been extra mouthy to me lately, so I had to beat him to within an inch of his life again," Lady Auguste replied, smiling sadistically as she cruelly picked at where the man's flesh was torn from all the whipping, causing him to tremble and gasp in pain. "You must understand by now, young Cloudian, that I indulge in certain pleasures within these walls."
"Yeah, you apparently get off by torturing young bucks that you find attractive," the god shrugged uncaringly. "I've heard worse. The deities in the heavens above are into some weird things."
"Mmm see, it's these peculiar things that you say that intrigue me about you," the baroness continued as she put a hand to the god's bare chest, biting her lip as she looked him up and down. "You asked if I brought you down here to show you my collection. You misunderstand, young soldier. I want you to become part of my collection."
Putting his head back, Razaranje laughed loudly, the absurdity of the mortal who thought she had any kind of real power sending him into a fit of giggles. This only brought Lady Auguste's cruel, hungry smile back to her face, where she backed away while taking something out of her pocket.
"And what are you laughing about? I, the baroness of this land, have all the power over you, a mere solider," the woman laughed, her chest shaking as she snickered. "Don't you understand? I want you, so you're never leaving these castle walls again. I can do this because of my position, that's how our system works."
"Mhmm, and what do you plan to do with me?" Raz grinned, entertaining the baroness.
"Mmmm I'll force myself on you, use you like a toy, whip you, beat you, whatever I want!" Auguste exclaimed, continuing to back away from the god. "You'll be nothing but one of my possessions, some handsome eye candy that I can do whatever I want to!"
"Mhmm, and what if I don't want to?" Razaranje asked.
"Ugh, stop! You're making me want you all the more," the baroness moaned, rubbing a curled up whip between her breasts while snapping her fingers with her other hand. "Seize him! And try not to break him or anything, that's for me to do."
Sensing movement, Raz turned to see 3 massive white statues walking towards him from the end of the hallway. Resembling featureless knights, each was 15 feet tall, their heads occasionally scraping the ceiling as they mindlessly marched towards the god.
"They're chess golems, a simple-minded but strong familiar that can easily be bound to someone to give them orders," Lady Auguste explained as the muscular deity didn't even flinch at the advancing statues. "To make this easier for you, I'd surrender immediately. No matter how skilled a soldier you are, you don't want to fight even one of these things!"
Razaranje remained unmoving, however, grinning mischievously at the baroness, much to her entertainment. Clapping her hands, the scarlet-clad woman prepared to enjoy watching a game of cat and mouse between her lone guest and her statue servants. As two of the chess golems flanked Raz and lunged at him from both sides, the god finally made his move at the last second.
As one of the pale, stone hands reached around his body to grab him, the god of destruction grabbed one of the fingers with his own hand, and with a small flick of his wrist, threw the entire golem over his shoulder at the second statue that was flanking him from the other side with immense force. The two golems collided, and in an explosion of dust and stone, flew all the way across the expansive dungeon and into the wall, causing a massive cloud of debris and for that entire section of brick to shatter and crumble. The entire castle was shaken by the impact.
Staring blankly at Razaranje, seemingly not able to process what had just happened, the baroness watched as the third golem came up behind the god and attempted to grab him, trying to trap his muscular frame in a stone bear hug. Raz merely spread his arms apart and impacted the closing arms of the statue, and in a fraction of a second, the golem exploded into a cloud of dust, before that too faded away into nothingness.
"W-w-what?" Lady Auguste stammered, taking another step back. "Y-you're no soldier! What the hell are you?!"
An explosion of wind blasting through the dungeons, Razaranje launched himself at the baroness at breakneck speed, faster than the woman could even perceive as she suddenly felt herself roughly pushed against the wall and pinned by her wrists. Blinking, she found herself staring into her guest's bright blue eyes, gazing intensely at her while he held her arms to the brick.
"I am Razaranje, god of destruction," he hissed, looming over her menacingly. "I care not for your feeble position in this world, for I could annihilate your entire country if I please. Hear me now, mortal: it is you who should be bowing before me in respect."
Despite his threat, Raz was perplexed to instead see the baroness blushing deeply and her body quivering, yet he still smelt intense fear in her heart. Gripping her wrists tighter, the god caused the whole castle to shake again with a mere stomp of his foot, continuing to glare deep into her eyes. Now hearing urine running down the terrified woman's leg and dripping onto the floor, Razaranje could barely contain his shock as Lady Auguste moaned gently and began to pant, seemingly somewhere between scared to death and turned on.
"N-now flee, mortal, and return to your bedchambers!" the god commanded, keeping his composure. "In the morning, we shall both forget about this encounter. You will give the short one the troops that you promised him, and we will all walk out of this filthy castle. Now be gone!"
"U-understood," the baroness mumbled, barely audible as she nervously staggered away, taking another look at the destruction god before continuing on her way outside the dungeon.
Chuckling, Razaranje shook his head, admitting that the odd woman was one of the most interesting people that he had met in the mortal world so far. Taking another look around the dungeon before getting ready to leave, a voice suddenly called out to him.
"Hey, buddy! Buddy, are you really a god?" the man who was chained to the metal cross asked, looking as if he was trying to break his neck trying to get a better look at Raz. "I just heard what happened, what the hell? You sure put that crazy bitch in her place."
"Yeah I'm not here to shake the place up, I'm leaving," the god stated flatly, heading towards the stairs.
"W-wait! Hey, do you mind getting me out of here? It's been 2 years since Lady Auguste imprisoned me, I'm yearning to go home," the man begged. "If you're a god, please hear this pitiful mortal out."
"I will not, farewell," Raz replied, continuing on his way.
"N-no! No please, I'll make it worth your while!" the prisoner promised. "If you release me, I'll take you back to my home town. There is another god already living there."
