Chapter 1 - Fall From Grace

It was another glorious day in the Realm of the Gods, where mountains of luxuriously-soft clouds stretched on for as far as the eye could see while warm, heavenly light bathed the landscape from a source high above the light-purple sky. Temples, castles, and vibrant palaces decorated the realm, the homes of the gods that controlled almost every natural aspect of the universe. Food of the highest quality was readily available, and any luxury that one could ever want was there just waiting to be used by the immortal population. Like the living, breathing mortals that dwelled far below the heavens, the gods could feel a wide array of emotions. They loved, they lusted, they got angry, and they could get sad. It was this human aspect that made them relatable to the mortals that worshipped them.

Walking along the shores of the Meli River, a majestic stream of gleaming water, was one god who despite his immense power, was rather nervous at the time. Stopping to kneel down by the gently-flowing water, the immortal cupped his hand beneath the surface and splashed some of the cool liquid against his face, taking a deep breath as it dripped down his long, grey hair and onto his bare, muscular chest.

"I can do this. I am the mighty god of destruction," the god whispered to himself as his pale blue eyes gazed into his own reflection in the river. "Worlds can crumble in my grasp, the mortal realm is mine to eventually crush. I can, and WILL propose to the woman I love!"

This was Razaranje, the god of destruction. A powerful god who wielded abilities of mass obliteration, he was a force to be reckoned with as one of the most respected and feared deities of the entire pantheon. Despite possessing the ability to destroy an entire world, Razaranje couldn't help but feel anxious about the task that he'd walked along the banks of the Meli to do. Waiting for him by the statue of the king of the gods, Athelion, a short distance away was a goddess that he'd been courting for several centuries, and figuring that the time was right, the god of destruction was ready to propose.

Rising to his feet, Razaranje gave his reflection in the water a final onceover before he left. His physical form standing at 6'5, the god was considered a very attractive immortal specimen who was regularly seen shirtless and in minimal clothing, with his muscular legs draped in a black, armored kilt that flowed as he walked. Luxuriously long grey hair bounced over his shoulders, and a dark armored bracelet adorned each of his wrists to give the god a subtle flair.

He arrived at the statue minutes later, taking a moment to roll his eyes at the 100-foot golden image depicting the king of the gods, which in its monotone shiny color, simply looked like an older man with spiky hair and adorned in fine robes. Smiling as he approached the statue's base, Razaranje could already see the goddess that he planned to marry waiting there for him, easily standing out. Her beauty made her unmistakable to the immortals, where mortals, gods, and goddesses alike found themselves enamored by the gorgeous waves of black hair that flowed over her shoulders, her deep pale-olive skin, and voluptuous curves that could drive a man insane. This was Luavida, the goddess of lust.

"Hey Raz," she sang as a warm smile spread across her face, where she immediately began to blush as he approached. "Mmm you're looking as gorgeous as ever. Your hair looks so wild all long and messy like that, did you keep it that way just for me?"

"Of course, my sweet," Razaranje lied as he embraced the goddess, having accidentally messed his hair up when he'd stopped to look at his reflection in the river. "Surely by now you know how I care for you? I remember everything you like in intimate detail. Why, the very banks of this river is where I first started talking to you eons ago."

"The mighty god of destruction was watching me bathe," Luavida teased as she cupped each of her massive beasts in her hands, her womanly figure draped in a tight-fitting, long white dress with gold accents that struggled to contain her curvaceous body. "It's okay, you know I liked it. If you're wanting to take a trip down memory lane, though, why did you want to meet in front of the statue of Lord Athelion? Everyone knows you can't stand him."

"Oh, I just wanted him to see this," Razaranje replied as he leaned forward and wrapped his arm around the goddess's waist, giving her ample rear a good squeeze and causing her to shudder.

"Mmph, you're so bad," Luavida moaned, putting a hand to the god's muscular shoulder while leaning on him. "C'mon, let's go on our walk before I disrobe you here and now. Didn't you say that you wanted to head to one of the viewing portals?"

"I did, there's something important that I'd like to talk to you about."

With that, the pair of deities departed the statue and continued along the banks of the Meli and proceeded to their destination. There were several viewing portals within the realm of the gods that could be used to look down upon the mortal realm far below without actually visiting it. Gods and goddesses often used the living world as a source of entertainment, rather than actually step in and influence it themselves, and some took this spectating role quite seriously, cheering on certain mortal factions as if it were a sporting event. Razaranje himself didn't care too much, the world of the living being akin to watching an ant hill for him. What he really wanted to do on the hike to the portal was wait for the opportune moment to propose to Luavida.

The pair talked for what felt like forever, with both god and goddess reminiscing over their lengthy relationship in great detail. Their long history together only cemented the idea of marriage to Raz, where he was certain that spending eternal bliss with the lust goddess was exactly what he wanted—and needed. Stepping towards the edge of the viewing portal at the end if the river, the two looked down into the large hole that gave them a top-down view of the world below, but before either of them could even give the realm a second glance, Razaranje put his hands to Luavida's shoulders and turned her to face him.

"Marry me," the god almost stammered, his bright blue eyes staring deep into his beloved's. "Do me the honor of marrying me, Luavida."

Her eyes widening in shock, the goddess's face went bright red as she stifled a moan in her hand. Putting a trembling palm to the destruction god's solid chest, she began to wordlessly nod her head.

"Y-yes!! Yes, I would love to marry you!"

Embracing, the couple kissed each other deeply, fighting the tempting thought of rolling to the ground and stripping themselves to engage in lovemaking there and then. Surprisingly, Luavida eventually pulled away panting, despite seemingly fighting the urge to pounce on Razaranje.

"A-are you sure, though?" she asked, adjusting the strained breast portion of her dress while her large chest jiggled in response. "I mean, I'm the lust goddess. I have an insatiable appetite. I've accidentally killed people because they couldn't handle the extremes of making love to me. What I'm saying is that my passion is a lot, and I'm worried that you might not be able to handle it."

"My love, you may have had such dangers with weaker men," Raz stated confidently with a grin. "But I'm in a league of my own. I am one of the strongest gods in the universe, I'm not like the mortals that you play with from time to time."

"Well in that case—get over here, and prepare for a long night…or week," Luavida moaned as she clawed at the muscular god's chest again. "By the time I'm through with you, all goddesses will know that you belong to me."

"No complaints from me," Raz chuckled as he prepared to embrace his new fiancé, only to freeze as a strange sensation overtook him. "What the…what the hell is this?"

Luavida froze as well, a perplexed expression replacing her longing eyes as something odd began to happen to the destruction god. It took a second for him to realize what was going on himself, but suddenly looking up at the lust goddess, Razaranje in turn looked down to see his feet disappearing into the cloud-like ground below. He was sinking.

"W-what's going on?!" the goddess asked while attempting to grab the deity, only to find her hands phasing through him. "What the!?"

"I have no idea!" Razaranje yelled in frustration, attempted to grab the ground as he started to sink in past his shoulders, though his hands fruitlessly passed through the heavenly earth as well. "L-Luavida! I lo—

The god's words were cutoff as his head sank beneath the ground, leaving not a trace of the lord of destruction. Panicking, Luavida began to dig at the ground using her hands, but there was no sign of her fiancé.

"R-Razaranje! Raz! Where did you go!?" the goddess cried out on her knees, looking around the heavens in utter confusion.

After sinking into the ground, Raz felt as if he was falling. Not being able to see anything at first, the god suddenly entered an expansive dark-blue sky, where he continued to helplessly plummet. Looking up with his long hair blowing in his face, Raz could see the barrier between heaven and earth above him, and looking down, was able to see a second deep-blue barrier. Before another thought crossed his mind, the god broke through the seal as his speed seemed to increase, where fire now surrounded him as friction heated up his body. Unbothered and unharmed at burning up in the atmosphere, the shirtless deity raised an eyebrow as he approached a field of clouds, where still tens of thousands of feet below him, he could see solid ground.

"What in the world? What is happening to me?" Razaranje pondered to himself casually as he sped towards the earth at several times the speed of sound.

The ride down was interesting to the god, where minutes later, he could see vast mountains, trees and fields below him, and he was even able to make out distant towns. Trailing a tail of smoke behind him as he became incased in a fireball, Raz didn't even flinch as he careened into the ground as fast as a meteorite, his landing causing a massive explosion that kicked up tons of earth and scorched nearby trees and bushes. With a flap of his hand, the god cleared the smoke while he stood up, cracking his neck as he stiffly rose from the center of a wide crater that was nearly 20 feet deep.

"Ugh…the smell of death," Razaranje remarked as his nose twitched while he stepped out of the smoldering hole. "I must be in the mortal realm."

Setting his foot onto some freshly-scorched grass, the god brushed some dirt from his armored kilt, before stretching his arm while looking around at his surroundings. He appeared to have landed in a small clearing amidst a sprawling forest, having spared much of the flora from destruction. Feeling eyes on him almost immediately, the topless deity spun around to find a young woman standing amongst the trees.

"Whoa," Raz whispered as he laid eyes on her. "What kind of goddess are you?"

Referring to her immense beauty, the trembling woman had long dark hair and was adorned with a flowing purple robe that featured a brass belt around the waist and hoops around the shoulders. The symbols of an unknown language were written below the woman's bust, which was so huge that it could contend with even a goddess like Luavida, the massive, pale breasts budging out of the thin purple dress top that only barely held them in place. The sides of her hair were tied into two small buns, in which a purple flower that matched her dress had been placed.

"Y-your name," the stranger stammered. "P-please tell me your name."

Smirking, Razaranje stood firmly with his broad chest puffed out and his hands on his hips. Putting his head back, he roared loudly towards the woman.

"I am Razaranje, the god of destruction!"

The gorgeous female immediately fell to her hands and knees, posturing herself before the deity while her deep-brown eyes filled with tears.

"Lord Razaranje! She cried out. "You're here! My prayers have been answered!"
