Via is a fanatic reader of novels. Slice-of-life, comedy, romance, historical, fantasy, sci-fi, isekai, transmigration, mystery, thriller, apocalyptic, smut, etc. All those genres have been read by her, unintentionally or not.
Via can surmise from countless clichés that a cannon fodder like her will inevitably be drawn to the protagonists and the plot as long as she is related to the story's progression.
Via thought of not creating a connection with the heroine and all but as in all the novels she had read, the more you avoid, the more you will meet.
Via cannot risk meeting the heroine again when the apocalypse starts. The heroine was charming and smart in the novel, but if faced with real life, she's a vixen with cunning ways, definitely someone who Via doesn't like to deal with.
Via not only had to deal with the approaching apocalypse but also had to bother about her supplies and the damn plot of this novel. She sighed and buried herself in the couch deeper.
Via felt like God was making her life hard because she was such a laid-back person in the past.
Via Aimee Sanchez. She came from an ordinary family of giants. Her parents and little brother all exceeded the height of 5'8. Even she was 5'9 in height.
She was tall, this was Via's confidence that bullies in elementary and high school weren't able to destroy. Because she was tall, she was able to intimidate her bullies without using too much physical violence.
She was hailed as the cool girl and decided to be such when she started going to the gym to build up and maintain her health.
When Via entered the gym, she also entered the realm of online novels.
Feeding the addiction of the mind by reading novels, and feeding the addiction of the body with exercise. Via felt that this is a very virtuous cycle.
When Via entered adulthood and college, she was scouted by a modeling agency and started to work part-time there. Via found fame and popularity in modeling and earned more money than she needed.
She was able to graduate with Latin honors in college, found a suitable job for herself, and earned money to feed herself and support her family.
"Huh? Now that I think about it, my life is quite smooth sailing with a few bumps of hardships. Is this really God's punishment for my laid-back life?" Via shook her head to fend off the stray thoughts that kept coming in.
10 days. Via had 10 days to prepare and now she's wasting time reminiscing about small matters.
"In a zombie apocalypse, it's good to have supplies ready." Via once again stared at the unlocked phone, planning to start a buying spree.
"Food supplies, Water supplies, snack supplies, Hygiene supplies, ah..."
"...Ah! I can't forget my entertainment supplies(gadgets), I might as well buy a generator and gas for it. Solar panels are a must-have. And since I'm in a military compound, someone might know how to assemble them. What more am I missing?"
"I have a gun and 12 cases of bullets for it but since bullets can be wasted, let's not touch it until it's a real-life and death emergency."
"I need to enforce my door with more locks, at the apocalypse, humans are more dangerous than the mindless zombies."
