The group was surprised and confused by Raven's question, all of them know except Raven that all Demons are dangerous and that they have a diet for blood and flesh.
Lucas clears his throat a couple of times before speaking, but his voice was still a bit shaky for the encounter with Tsahìkwe. "Raven, I don't mean to sound rude, but did someone hit you in the head at some point in your life?" He tries to sound as kind as possible, but both Emily and Chloe glares at him with shock and annoyance.
Emily quickly walks up to Lucas and hits him in the shoulder, he winces softly and rubs on his shoulder on where she hit him. "Lucas that was really rude for you to ask that, but still..." She turns her attention towards Raven, who is still leaned back in her chair with her hands behind her head for comfort. "...Is it safe for us to go see a group of feral Demons..?" Emily tries to repeat Lucas's question in a gentler way.
Lucas immediately shakes his head radially, and right after that, Chloe hits the lower part of arm because she can't reach his shoulder. "Of course it is safe for us to go, Raven is like a Demon Whisperer." Chloe smiles confidently, and skips over towards Raven and hugs her shoulder. "With her around, we have nothing to fear with Demons." She holds the hug around Raven with a happy smile on her face.
Raven gently pats Chloe's head and strokes her head softly, but she keeps her eyes on Emily, Lucas, and Nick. "Well, it seems Chloe is down for it. Anyone else wanna join us?" She keeps on gently stroking Chloe's head, and Chloe seems to enjoy it very much with a slight smile on her face, she leans into the touch and closed her eyes gently.
Nick has his back to the wall, he doesn't say anything, he just listens and obverses before he says anything or judge.
Lucas was still against the idea of going and he wants everyone know that they shouldn't ever, he avoids eye contact with everyone by looking at the ground, and then he finally decided to speak his mind. "I'm just going to say this on the behalf of everyone that we shouldn't g-" As Lucas got to the point, Nick cut him off.
"Lucas will go and he will have a good time." Nick just speaks out of nowhere, Lucas looks straight at Nick, his eyes filled with fury and confusion, Lucas gestured towards Nick, as if he wants an answer for making him go when Nick knows fully that Lucas doesn't want to go.
Nick pushes himself off the wall he was leaning and grabbed Lucas at the back of his collar and drag him out of the room and into another one. Lucas was kicking and throwing his arms in the air as he was struggling to get put of his grip, but there no effort since he can not beat the strength of a Werewolf.
Emily, Chloe, and Raven just sat and watched as Nick dragged him away with wide eyes, Raven prevents herself from laughing by covering her mouth with her hand, she successfully stops herself and clears her throat, she leans back in her chair. "So.... Is Lucas going or not?" She leans forward and gently picks up Chloe to sit her on her lap, and Chloe had no problem with it.
Emily leans back on her chair as well and sighs deeply, she knows that Lucas can be a bit..... uneasy in a few situations...? But Nick does have a point on where he needs to loosen up a bit and Nick could do the same.
"Well, I believe that maybe that Lucas will go, but I don't think Nick would and if he did I'd be surprised." She shrugs her shoulders and presses her lips together, she continues to think if both Lucas and Nick would go to play with bloodthirsty Demons.
*...Meanwhile with Lucas and Nick...*
Nick dragged Lucas into another with a single table with a few chairs around it, Nick pushes Lucas to sit down on a chair and Nick sat in the chair to front of Lucas on the opposite side of the table.
Nick gave a Lucas a hard stare, his ears were pinned back on his head and his tail was swaying around behind him, the stare was making Lucas feel a uncomfortable with himself, he could feel a single drop of sweat travel from his forehead to his cheek.
Lucas swallowed nervously and he tried to look away from Nick but then Nick narrowed his eyes to increase the uncomfortable feeling within Lucas, and he couldn't take it anymore. "Nick, I'm sorry, but no way I am going to go in the same area as human-eating, bloodthirsty, dangerous Demons live, it's a death wish for those who can't use their brain." Lucas leaned back on his chair and let out a short sigh. "I mean, I don't want Emily or Chloe to be in danger, Raven seems to know what to do but is it the right choice to do something like that?"
Nick slowly get go of the stare and his ears go back up with him as he clears his throat softly. "That's a lot in your head and I agree with you, but what's the point of learning how to fight if you never know how to use it? I'll try to explain it in a easier way. Say you want to make a dish but you only know how to make one, and maybe one day, you want to make something new but you don't know how or what ingredients you need, you can make the dish you know so well but this time you can add some herbs or spice for a kick. Does that help?" Nick smiles softly as he hopes that would hopefully clear things up for Lucas.
Lucas thought about Nick said long and hard, but sadly the explanation couldn't reach his brain. "You want me to cook something for the Demon's so they don't eat me or anyone else?"
Nick frowns and presses his face into his hands, he groans softly in annoyance, he lifts his head from his hands and tries again to clear things up. "No, we are your normal dish, but this time the Demons could be the spice for today. I know that this could be a lot from me but maybe you could give it a try, if I were the same in the past I would be against this 100%, but I've grown to be a bit softer now when it comes to outside things."
Lucas realised he's talking about when they ran into Raven and how aggressive he was before Raven soften him up so he does thankfully understands that. "You'll be there too, right? You can't leave me hanging after that speech."
Nick chuckles in his reports, the tip of his tail flicked to the side, he nods and says, "Of course, someone has to be there to make you don't get eaten or at else make sure you don't piss yourself." Nick laughed this time with a big smile on his face, Lucas couldn't help but laugh with him, knowing that pissing is a possibility that could happen with him.
Both of them stood up from their chairs to walked back into the cafeteria room where Emily, Chloe, and Raven were sitting and having a good time, Nick knocked on the door they existed to give their attention, the girls turned their heads towards Nick and Lucas.
Lucas and Nick smiled softly but Lucas had a bigger smile, he put his hand on Nick's shoulder and with the joke Nick said he just couldn't help smiling. "We're both in for the Demon field trip."
Emily clapped her hands together as a reward for Lucas for brave enough for that because she knows that he can be a wuss sometimes, Chloe cheers from Lucas by saying, "We knew you could do it!" She then turn her head at Raven and whispered, "...Eventually..."
Raven was pleased with everyone's courage to join her, but sadly it was just another part of a plan to make them lower their guard for the trap to set in, she didn't want to do it but if she wants them to safe, it must go perfectly...
