Chapter 83 - The Old Man

The old man was carrying two crates pulled by chains. They looked heavy, but he dragged them so lightly. His face was always downcast, facing the ground as if he knew the direction he was walking.

Jagat silently watched from above the trees when Badil and Wingga stopped the old man's journey.

"Stop, old man. What are you carrying behind you?" asked Wingga while occasionally wiping his nose. Noting the old man in front of him from head to toe.

The old man stopped. He said softly, his head still facing the ground, without looking at the other person. "Move aside young man."

"You can go as long as you keep the two chests. Hurry up before you regret my anger!" said Wingga again loudly.

The old man remained silent. His feet did not move an inch to fulfill the wishes of his assailants. Badil silently watched and shifted his position sideways to check the two crates.
