"We want to escape the Demon King's control. I need your help," the commander said firmly.
Nyai Rasmi hesitated momentarily before answering, "It seems impossible to fulfill that request. That is your problem on land. I cannot interfere."
The commander did not back down. He remained firm in his purpose. "I am not asking you, Princess. I am asking him." He pointed at Jagat, who was standing behind Nyai Rasmi.
But before Jagat could respond, Sabrang quickly covered the commander's open forefinger, preventing him from pointing at Jagat. "One moment, Commander, one moment. First, tell me what the problem is, and then you can raise your forefinger as before," Sabrang said sternly, changing the conversation's direction.
There was a rush of wind and a low rumble as the demon commander pondered Sabrang's words.
"The forest demon enslaves our people, but the demon king seems to turn a blind eye," the commander said in a low voice.
