"Hello, Abrial," Bi Gho half-smiled. "Should I guess what you have come to ask?"
Abrial stiffly walked up to the table, still feeling pretty frozen from the cold. She cleared her throat, feeling a little silly all of a sudden. What was she, some hardened revenge-seeker coming to demand something? But when she remembered the way the Emperor's lips had curled into a sneer in her dreams and her memories, over and over and over, her expression hardened, and her mouth tasted bitter. She cleared her throat and crossed her arms in what she hoped was a confident way.
"Leader Bi Gho, I have a request to make about the assassination plan."
"And what is this request?"
Abrial cleared her throat again, shifting her feet.
"Let me be the one to give the last blow. On the Emperor, I mean. Let me kill him. I don't care if it's dangerous. I want to do it."
