White Mask nodded solemnly. Wei Guang didn't care much for this man, so he hadn't examined him closely. He had heard rumors of the great swordsman, White Mask, Blue Sword, who always stood by the Emperor's side and handled secret affairs. He had also heard intriguing things, such as rumors of this White Mask's being a sort of…consort, or at the very least, bed partner, to the Emperor. He cast the man a quick glance now, taking in his slender, tall figure, his handsome chin, and his warm, gentle brown eyes peering through his pure maks of white jade.
He was certainly good-looking enough for the Emperor to like him, he supposed. There was certainly something there to think about more. If the Emperor truly was taking this secretive man, White Mask, to bed — how much did the Emperor value him? Did he simply find White Mask attractive? Or, did he…truly "love" this White Mask? And if so…
Could he be used as a bargaining chip in the future?
