"You should start with a simple construct, don't try to solidify something grand or intricate" said Midas to Tom.
"Okay, let me try" replied Tom before concentrating and shaping his etherium into a round ball construct.
He heightened his concentration, then started slowly injecting more Etherium into the ball construct.
Since he didn't know what was the balance of the ball construct, he injected his etherium slowly in a gradual manner and when he thought that it was enough, tried to hold the ball, however his hand passed right through indicating that he didn't attain the balance, which prompted him to inject even more Etherium into the ball before trying to hold the ball again. But, his hand passed right through it again.
Seeing this, he injected even more Etherium into the ball, however, before he even had time to try and hold it, the construct crumbled due to him injecting much more mana than needed, causing him to go beyond the balance.
'It's going to be more tricky than I thought' realized Tom.
Fortunately for him, like Midas had said, shaping his Etherium into something he wanted was the greatest difficulty in learning the force shaping technique, finding the balance of a construct was just a matter of time as you just needed to probe till you found the right balance, so it didn't take Tom more than one day to find the balance of the ball construct.
The feeling when he touched the ball made of etherium seemed surreal, the ball seemed cool to the touch but also hot, and it didn't really feel like a ball at all, it was just like a round and hard bowling ball, not to mention that it was quite heavy, making even Tom struggle to hold it.
Nevertheless, Tom was really happy the moment he finally achieved that goal, as it signified that he finally learned the force shaper technique.
He then realized a good thing about techniques created by using etherium, which is that they weren't etherium-hungry, which signified that he could maintain his constructs for a sufficient amount of time.
After the ball construct, he managed to find the balance of constructs like a baseball bat, a cube and many other things.
While solidifying those constructs, Tom called to understand that there more intricate was your construct, the most difficult it was to find its balance, so, when it was time to solidify a sword construct, Tom actually made the sword as crude as possible and concentrated to only make it sharp.
After three days of probing, Tom finally managed to find the right balance to the sword construct he made, thus being gaining a weapon capable of cutting his enemies.
Of course, he couldn't make any of those constructs in the midst of a fight, but does he need to? He could just create them before engaging in a fight, well, if he isn't ambushed that is.
After the sword constructs, Tom spent two days finding the balance of a crude shield construct he had made, he was learning all of those techniques in the hope of fighting a foe of level 3, it would be foolish to go into battle without having something capable of protecting him, or at least soften the blows, which is why he tried to make it more sturdy than his other constructs, unfortunately he couldn't do it, each time he tried the constructs would instead crumble, leaving him no choice but to abandon that thought of him.
Finally, the last construct he tried to solidify was actually the one he planned to use during his fight, this construct was none other than gauntlets.
The reason why he was wrapping up with the gauntlets was that the gauntlet he had in mind was actually much more intricate and difficult to make, so he waited till he had enough experience before attempting it.
The gauntlet looked like an intricately crafted combat gauntlet, though lacking refinement, exudes a purposeful elegance tailored for the art of warfare.
Since this gauntlet was very intricately shaped, it actually took Tom more than a week to finally find his balance.
When he was done solidifying it, Tom slid his arm in it and said with a smile :
"It fits me perfectly"
"What to do-"
RUMBLE RUMBLE
Tom didn't even finish his sentence when he felt the ground rumble, as if lightning itself was orchestrating a symphony beneath his feet.
He looked toward the summit of the mountain and witnessed a billowing cloud of dust rising.
"They are finally here" said Midas as he emerged from Tom's shadow.
He looked at tom and said with a grin, "your training is officially finished, kid".
Tom exhaled a breath both of anticipation and unease, but he ultimately grinned.
"Well, let's go welcome the newcomers".

"Boss, an army of hundreds is coming toward us!" Exclaimed Mooglie when he saw Tom finally returning to the encampment.
"No kidding, it's not like I can see the cloud rising" replied Tom in a sarcastic tone.
"What do we do ?" Asked Midas as he didn't know that the current army coming was actually on their side and Tom had no intention to tell them right now.
"What else, prepare for combat" replied Tom with a mischievous smirk, he wanted to see the faces of his current subordinates when they understood that this coming Army was actually Tom's future subordinates.
After a few minutes, Tom and his subordinates took off, going at the encounter of the descending army.
Their formations now looked a bit more like that of an actual army, unlike before that one could see at first glance that they were just a bunch of individuals trying to form an army and failing miserably.
Mere minutes later, both army came face to face.
It wasn't until now that Tom could finally assess the number of this army in front of him and the sheer size of it made him whistle in amazement, he even wondered how so many of wisemonkies could live on the summit of the mountain.
'It might be quite vast up there's thought Tom as he cast a glance toward the peak of the mountain.
Meanwhile, the two leading commandant of the wisemonkies detached themselves from the army and walked towards Tom.
Mooglie and the others tensed as they recognized the second and third ranked of the special unit, but still held their ground, placing all their hope on the fact that Tom could take the both of them alone, as for the remaining army? They weren't really afraid of this bunch of normal wisemonkies, despite their numbers.
However, contrary to their expectations, the moment the two wisemonkies came face to face with Tom, they both kneeled I front of him, shocking mooglie and the others.
Tom looked back toward his subordinates and smirked at their shocked faces, then asked:
" Do you appreciate my surprise ?"
