It was raining since last night. Aai finished her test. Since she didn't have an umbrella with her she waited for the rain to slow down.
While going home, she visited a general store and bought a hot water bag.
Around the time, the rain had stopped.
Aai continued her walk to home.
AHH!
She bumps into a kid. She, with her reflexes caught that boy from falling down.
The kid looked up,
''Hey what are doing here alone!''
It was Sam, Haris's younger brother.
He looked at Aai and hugged him, ''AAI!".
Aai: "...!...", startled and didn't understand the situation.
Aai: "Oii! what are you doing roaming around alone? It's not safe, Where's your brother?".
Sam: "...". he didn't say anything and kept hugging her.
Aai confused. She looked around.
"SAAAM, SAM!".
Aai looked infront to see Haris calling out. He noticed Aai and came to her.
Haris: "You!....let's go home!".
Sam hid behind Aai and held her tight.
Haris: "Sam, stop causing trouble, let's go home".
Sam: "NO! Until you agree I won't be going back!". he shouted from Aai's back.
Haris: "Saam! You sure are having your way since your birthday". he was tired from Sam's requests.
Aai stuck in between spoke,
Aai: "Hey! hope you know you are outdoors".
Haris: "Aai!". He suddenly shouted. Seemed like he noticed her now.
Aai: "...?".
Haris: "Aai will you do me a small favour. Please!".
In a cafe shop.
Haris: "Aai could you take Sam this weekend at 3 of evening to the city centre park. There's going to be a Kids Center opening on that day. It will have all types of games for kids with different cartoon mascots. The sooner Sam saw their ad poster while we shopping, he began demanding to go. The entry is free on the first day of the visit".
Aai: "...But...".
Haris: "I would have taken him but I've to meet a client. Just take him, I'll finish my work faster and return to you, please Aai".
Sam: "Aai!". he looked at her with pleading expression.
They both looked at Aai. Aai helpless just agreed to it. She had never gone to any place with a child alone. Nervous thinking what would happen on that day, the day passed.
The next day, in afternoon,
Haris met Aai near the park and left for work leaving Sam with her. Aai worried just entered the park.
There were many children around with their parents. The children all excited and happy for that moments.
Suddenly there was an announcement that the event will be delayed for an hour.
Listening to this Sam got sad.
Aai: "...Hey! why don't we try the other games, when it's time, we will return, okay?".
Sam happily agreed. She let him try various games and stayed with him the whole time.
They were still 15 mins left. All tired, they decided to have something first.
After eating, as Aai got up to throw the wrappings, "Hey it started", saying Sam ran into the crowd.
Aai about to follow him, her leg twisted.
Ahhh!
She grips and manages herself and looks around to find Sam nowhere. She starts getting anxious and worried. Many thoughts crossed her mind. But she clenches her fist, taking a deep breath,
Aai: "SAM! WHERE ARE YOU? She began calling out to him. She continued till she heard,
Sam: "AAI!..."
