Charlotte had finished eating a delicious meal with Vivian. It has been long Charlotte had eaten such delicious meals in her lifetime.
"Viv thanks for this delicious meal and treat. I must commend that your house chefs could cook very well." said Charlotte pleased with the food
"Yeah, you can say that again." said Vivian cheerfully
The house maid came inside to carry their plates to the kitchen
"Viv, let's read for tomorrow's test." said Charlotte gently
"Which one, I thought we're through." asked Vivian nonchalant
"It remains history, biology. " said Charlotte
"Oh I've forgotten." said Vivian
"let's read please, let's read them now." added Charlotte quickly
"Duh I didn't bring you here to study jor, we'll do that later Charlotte." said Vivian playfully
"let's read now later we'll play Viv." said Charlotte softly, and she noticed Vivian was playing video games on her phone and she added "You know it's not cool telling you answer in the classroom Viv. I can't be telling you answer in the class when the teacher is there, if we're caught you know it's a big problem for me. so let me show you the easy way instead of you waiting for me to give you answer in the classroom." said Charlotte vividly
"Uhmn it's true I won't want your scholarship to be forfeited and I don't want to be the reason why you be expelled from school." said Vivian after a thought
"Yes good girl let's study now." said Charlotte grinning
"Uhmn, you've turned to my mother now. Okay let's study." replied Viv chuckled
Vivian stood up from the bed and sat down on the floor with Charlotte, both of them started reading and studying for their remaining tests. After an hour, Vivian's mother opened the door gently and saw the two girls were already engrossed with their school works, she was shocked to see her daughter studying with her classmate
"Am I dreaming Viv, you're studying?" asked Vivian mother baffled
"Mom! When did you entered the room?" said Vivian surprised to see her mother standing at the door unexpectedly
"Some seconds ago dear." replied Vivian's mother after recovering from her shock and she turned to Charlotte looking at her questioningly "And who're you young lady?" asked Vivian's mother
"Good afternoon ma." Charlotte quickly got up from the floor and bowed respectfully
"Mom this is my new friend, Charlotte, she's helping me to study." said Vivian happily
"Really how're you dear and how're your parents?" surprised Vivian's mother pleased to hear that from her daughter
"They're fine ma." replied Charlotte politely
"Thanks for helping my daughter. I'm glad to see that." Vivian's mother drew closer to Charlotte and embraced her tenderly
"It's nothing ma." replied Charlotte surprised at the lovely gesture towards her
"I would like you to be coming here everyday Charlotte if you don't mind. You're welcome anytime, any day." added Vivian's mother cheerfully
"Oh! Thanks ma." replied Charlotte gladly
"This is the first time I will see my daughter busy studying with her class mate. You're a good friend Charlotte and please keep it up." said Vivian's mom kindly and she left the room
"Your mother's nice just like you Viv." remarked Charlotte cheerfully
"Really thanks for the compliment." said Vivian smiling pressing her phone suddenly
"Yeah, so let's get back to work Viv." said Charlotte gently,
"Duh, okay."replied Viv chuckled and she dropped her phone
Later in the evening Charlotte Peters left the Vivian's house, she was given a ride by Vivian's driver, at first Charlotte declined the offer but later on she was persuaded by Vivian's mother to let the driver dropped her at her house.
"Is it your place miss?" asked the driver gently
"Yes, thanks sir." Charlotte alighted down from the car gently, and she quickly rushed inside the house to do her house chores.
It was the following day at school, Charlotte met Vivian at the school premises, she just got alighted from the car.
"Vivian!" called Charlotte. They both hugged each other happily
"My mom asked me to give you this sandwich." said Vivian softly
"Wow that's so nice of her." replied Charlotte cheerfully
"Yeah let's go inside." said Vivian smiling
They entered the classroom and started talking about the subjects they had study together in the house
"Could you believe i later read the history notes at night Charlotte. just to summarize it." said Vivian softly
"Oh really!" replied Charlotte amazed
"Yes dear." said Vivian smiling
"Good girl!" said Charlotte happily
"The history teacher is coming right now." shouted the class prefect
Everyone quickly settled down and the history teacher came inside immediately
"Whoa why is the class quiet like this?" asked the history teacher surprised to see the whole students quiet "Let's begin our test this morning!" said the teacher
"Yes sir." replied the students
After an hour, the students were done with their two tests and Charlotte quickly turned to Vivian
"Vivian how was the tests?" asked Charlotte
"It was good, and guess what everything we read came out!" said Vivian happily
"Yes you're right." replied Charlotte gladly
"So let's go and eat now Charlotte." said Vivian
"Okay let's go." They both left the classroom together. On their way going to the school cafeteria they met their other class mates; Iris and Ivie from Art class. The most proud and naughty Art students in the unique international high school. Everyone knew them because of their troublesome mischievous attitude towards their mate.
"Hey Vivian!" smirked Iris suddenly, pretending to be nice and she opened her gap teeth, wide at Vivian
"Hi Iris and Ivie!" said Viv looking at the two girls suspiciously
"Hope you're getting ready for the debate that's coming up on next week?" asked Iris and she caught of Charlotte looking at them surprisedly
"Oh thanks for reminding me!" replied Vivian chuckled
"Oh please spare me that funny ha-ha, just know we're beating you guys again this time around." said Iris sarcastically and Ivie laughed hysterically
"Debate?" asked Charlotte puzzled looking at Vivian dumbfounded
"Who's this?" asked Iris looking at Charlotte scornfully
"Student in need dear." smirked Ivie and she laughed at Charlotte disrespectful
"Oh I see! We're not talking to student in need, Vivian already knew what we're talking about. Excuse me." Iris hissed and left with her co-friend Ivie walking proudly away from them
"Really?" asked Charlotte offended by the girls rudely behavior towards her
"Ignore them Charlotte, they're just spoilt brat with bad attitude." said Vivian softly and she added "Will you join the debate Charlotte? It's has been Art students winning the debate since all this while." said Vivian gently
"Really I will join why not!" said Charlotte excitedly
