Blair's POV
The bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. History class finally ended after what felt like an eternity. It's funny, considering that we can't count eternities since they never end in the first place. But, who cares?
I grabbed my books and shoved them into my bag as I strolled out of the classroom, down the hallway, and towards detention. I spaced out, reminiscing about earlier today at lunch. I don't know what I was expecting, but it's certainly not what I got. I did leave school for a couple of days, but who would have thought that so much would have changed.
Yes, I sent them out of my house. But, are they really that oblivious to the fact that it's only just a facade, and deep down I'm lonely and dying?
Literally.
I'm really dying.
I grab my inhaler and take a few puffs. My chest tightens even more, and I double over in pain. Not wanting any attention from other students, I manage to stand properly and regain my breathing pace.
