'You've been in the dark for way too long
It's time to walk into the light
And accept your fate with open arms.'
Those were the words that kept echoing in Reginald's mind as he held his head high up while they led him into a room with no windows except a chair and table.
Once seated, they left him alone as if to reflect on what he had done.
He sat with a straight back as he stared into distance and listened to the noises around him.
His countenance was very relaxed and his lashes fluttered as he closed his eyes and remained in the position.
'He has been invited to court, so he has to go back to london.'
Reginald's senses keen in on what someone said, it was a female voice.
'When is he going back?'
'Immediately! They don't want to delay this case any further.'
'So, we'll send him back in the evening.'
Their decision of sending Reginald back was expected, and he wanted to return. The earlier, the better.
