A loud gasp escaped Keturah's lips as she sat upright on the bed with her eyes wide open in horror.
Her breathing was unsteady and she quickly held her neck to be sure it wasn't real.
Her body was shaking with fear as she looked around to be sure she was in her room and not in any forest.
With shaky legs, she lowered her feet to the ground and tried to get up from the bed but she couldn't, due to much fear in her body.
A knock came at the motel door and she heard a male voice.
"Ms Keturah, we would like to come in. Are you all set?"
Her lips trembled but her frantic nerves finally relaxed when she heard the police's voice.
But instead of answering them, she burst into tears and buried her face in her hands.
She had thought Reginald really came and everything happened. With the way he strangled her, she wouldn't have survived it.
When they received no response from her, they quickly opened the door and charged in.
