Already nighttime, Valeria stood at the balcony of her room patiently waiting for someone to show up very soon.
"Are you sure they will come?"
Her husband, Everand asked as he came to stand beside her while staring into the busy town below them.
"They will. The situation is serious and Reginald will do anything to save his daughter even if it means speaking to me." She said in a tired but confident tone.
"How do you feel about it?" He tilted his head slightly to the side and watched her calm expression.
"I don't know how to describe it, Ever. But one thing I'm certain of is the fact that I really miss my son." She smiled sadly and faced her husband.
Seeing how tired and stressed she looked, Everand offered her an encouraging smile to lighten her mood.
"I understand." He rubbed her back in a circular motion before pulling her to himself.
