Later in the day…
Reginald and Drussilla came home to an annoyed Fortune standing some steps from the door with her tiny arms crossed in disproval.
"You said you'll keep to your word, alpha." She recalled while narrowing her eyes at him.
"And I did, Luna."
"You leave in the morning and come back now…it is late!" She pouted at him and glared at his hand holding Drussilla's waist.
"But here we are, sweetheart. We still came back." Drussilla walked up to Fortune and lifted her up in her arms.
The little girl took the opportunity to quickly wrap her tiny arms around her mother's neck before planting a deep kiss on the right side of her cheek.
When she pulled away she smiled slyly at her father over her mother's shoulder but Reginald simply smiled.
As Drussilla walked ahead, Reginald followed behind her.
