Sean lay on a hospital bed exhausted as he eat breakfast.
Precious knocked the door lightly before entering with a worried face.
"Hey Sean,"
"Precious, you slept well?"
"Yeah. So how's your recovery," Precious asked in a caring tone.
"I'm good. My powers is actually based mainly on healing so am actually feeling great," Sean replied as he flexed his muscles to prove it to her which made her cheeks get a new found redness.
"Alright. Jao is actually in bad shape. The sword missed his heart narrowly but a lot of muscles and veins have been damaged. I think he'll live actually," Precious explained and Sean nodded in understanding.
Turns out, Sean didn't want to kill a good fighter such as Jao Ming and so he just rendered him unable to continue their battle.
"So, when are you gonna tell me....... What the fuck is a Phantom," Sean asked in a raising tone.
Precious was caught unawares by the question but quickly composed herself.
"Um, a Phantom is a...... A Human who has unlocked his Phantom Mode/Form. Few people know this but, Humans are not natives of earth. Their Aliens," Precious said in a hushed tone and Sean was dumbstruck.
"What.... Do you mean,"
"Humans were all Phantoms originally according to ancient manuscripts and historical records. We weren't earth natives but belong to a galaxy 35 light years away from here,"
"WTF. How did we move 35 light years then but we can't go now. It doesn't make sense," Sean said in disbelief of his own race existence and technological know how.
"Alright. Let me explain this. We, as in Human, are actually a sub-race under the main race, Phantoms. Humans are basically Phantoms with the difference of us not having a third eye and a tail as the distinctive physical appearance. It doesn't end there, they're also said to live longer, be stronger and still be faster and smarter than we Humans. Everything you've heard about Human evolution is actually nonsense. It should be Human Devolution. We were at the peak of the food chain on Earth at first but after 2 generations of procreation, our Phantom genes began degrading due to reduced need for them. Everyone knows that in the evolutionary theory, organs which aren't used frequently will keep degrading until they become almost unusable right? Well, we were so strong we didn't need to use our Phantom genes special abilities to remain at the top and so it degraded to the level we humans currently are. That's the reason we had to rely on technology instead of our personal abilities to survive," Precious explained so accurately it was like she was one of the first humans.
"Wait Wait Wait. Then how does Jao Ming have Phantom abilities?" Sean asked confused. If the Phantom Form could be gotten by Jao Ming, why haven't humans at large gotten it.
"Well, through rigorous cultivation, some talented hans have 'unlocked' their Phantom genes and can be used in different ways unique to a person. For example, statistically, most Phantom gene breakers possess strength based abilities at about 50% of the Phantom gene breaker population. 30% of the Phantom gene breaker population possess speed based abilities, while 20% of the population possess special abilities neither in the domain of speed or strength. Special ability users can be elemental Phantom gene breakers or illusion type Phantom gene breakers and so on. Some special ability users even have calculation based abilities or even abstract things like luck so most people want strength or speed abilities casue of the fear of getting bad special abilities. Do you understand now?" Precious asked as she drank a glass of water.
"Yhhhh. I get it. Thanks of explaining. I think I'll be fully healed by the end of the day," Sean said as he ate slowly.
"Alright. Till tomorrow. I'll be back," Precious stood up with a smile and left while Sean kept thinking about everything she said.
"WOW. I never knew we humans are just goddamn Aliens. Rema was right...... Fuck that, I should be able to unlock my Phantom Form too cause I don't think healing is Mily Phantom Form," Sean rummaged through his mind as he allowed his energy flow to keep on circulating at normal pace to heal at human standard.

A 16 year old boy with Auburn hair and skin wearing a skin tight combat suit stood in a stream with one of his legs in the water and the other raised up like an acrobatic dance performer with frightening stillness in the glittering ray's of the Full Moon.
The water reached his lower abdomen as it flowed at different speeds. The wind blew soothingly along the stream with the plants swaying with utmost grace and elegance.
Beside the boy in the stream sat an old man who was wearing a long Sensei like outfit. He had a long beard which looked as white as silk.
"Feel the stream's coolness coursing through your body. Feel the slightest fluctuations in the speed of the wind and breathe as the wind does. The world is your playground only when you know who to use control it. Listen to the wind, breathe with the wind....... Move, with the wind," the old man said as the boy kept trying to inculcate the words of his teacher into his practice.
The old man was actually teaching him the wind slash technique which was one of his family's Martial Arts. The main focus of the Wind Slash Technique was to utilize the power of the wind to deliver deadly attacks at the speed of the wind.
Each slash would be augmented by the wind making it a soundlessly dangerous assassin skill.
"Howl!!!!!!," A Loud fear inducing wolf-like howl was heard from afar and the old man immediately become alert.
"Jake, we have to go. Your practice can wait," the old man whispered as he hurried the young boy and they immediately rushed out of the scenery.

Birds chirping was heard in the serene night as bats flew in the cover of the darkness.
"Howl!!!!!!!!," A Loud domineering howl was heard followed by countless others of varying pitches.
All the avains in the vicinity flew away in fright as the sleeping antelopes and monkeys also ran away with fear gripping their hearts.
"Crash," Several dark shadows ran towards the river with their bulking bodies shattering the weak trees into bits.
A particular shadow with Red glowing eyes walked to the moon illuminated river and it's full body was revealed.
The shadow was fully revealed as a very tall monster with logic defying muscles and black long fur all over it's body giving it the depiction of a wolf. It's fangs were streamlined with thick saliva as it growled and lept into the river and into the water.
"Howl!!!!!!,"
