They bombard his school, they destroyed his house, they chased him out. The sinister have finally played their last card. They raided the hospital and took his aunt a hostage.
With no choice but to jump in the fire, Peter has to carry on fighting alone...
"I will save her, I can save her. She'll be okay... SHE HAS TO"
Peter jumped off from the high rise building's roof, taking use of the gravity shooting downward recklessly, he shot his hand up and began swinging at full speed through the city from one block to another, dodging cars and running on buildings, he finally stopped by one goblin statue at the roof of the tower opposite to the hospital...
All he could focus on was the hospital building destroyed at one side with holes in t ceilings and glass windows smashed everywhere. The power was cut off... with no signs for others outside, he still couldn't let his guard down, he could sense the great dangers dwelling inside in the darkness, but none of their traps mattered, Spiderman was determined to save the woman at all costs.
Down at the Square, Police hurdles were set to back off the citizens that gathered few kilometres away watching the whole battle from near. Most have been walking the street minding their business when the first missiles hit the side of the hospital, others were paramedics on standby that were met by the violent rush of the crazy duo, some were visitors who were on their way up to visit their loved ones when strange sparks caused a massive blackout, the last were the doctors who barely escaped from the strange tentacles tossing them mercilessly.
All these people and more were being treated in ambulances from another hospitals. While watching the whole situation from behind 2 swat teams and 6 polices patrol cars that made a brigade to keep people away from danger.
Police negotiators calling for the villains, while the Swat captain organizing his snipers position, Captain Stacy kept a tight look on the hospital's movements, calling for the generator to work up.
As horrid as it was for the spectators outside, their despair didn't hold a candle for the hostages inside the Hospital,
Patients locked in their rooms, families trembling in the receptions holed up hugging each other in fear for their lives, somewhere screams, some were crying, others tried to run, but in those few minutes of darkness the whole place was under their control. Shortly, light came back and the people were gathered helplessly like sheep brought to the slaughterhouse.
only Shocker was in the premises, so two brave citizens tried to escape but soon they were shot back with high voltage as the electricity man appeared, Electro maxed his voltage around, women screamed and men cowered in fear, while Shocker went to those who were down and held one of the escapees "It seems I wasn't clear about my words," she punched the man's guts forcing him on his knees then kicking his face down, "I said: stay still"
Silence invaded their presence but then a normal doctor approached the beaten men, trying to bandage their wounds, Shocker pulled the man's gown, trying to punch him in anger.
Out of blue a metal tentacle reached quickly holding Shocker's fist in return. The hostages startled for the sudden appearance of the wicked mastermind.
"Why aggravate the poor man, Shocker?" A wide smirk risen on his face as called for his man, preying devilishly with his eyes at the doctor on the floor, "he was just doing his job, ain't that right, doctor"
The young doctor on the ground gulped in fear while trembling "Wh... what do you want?"
"Just your job" a devilish smirk arced more on his face. While the young man only looking with shaking eyes at the monster with metal tentacles creeping up on him "..."
"We're here to visit a patient, kindly show us the way" Octopus called showing most erratic smile.
Shocker stayed behind while D. octopus disappeared with the hostage he dragged from the group, sandman showed up watching the scene with warry eyes, he reluctantly said "We are wasting time.. We should go rob some banks instead"
Shocker turned to him and squinted his eyes behind his googles "And why is that, Flynn? Do you perhaps pity the Spider?"
"No but this seems useless..." the man shrugged his shoulder, Shocker snickered then looked to the one behind Marco and called "Electro... should we go rob a bank or we should destroy the bug first"
"FRY HIM" Electro insanely shot his sparks around in excitement.
Shocker patted on Sandman's shoulder "if you have second thoughts, speak your mind now, Flint"
Marco looked annoyed from Shocker's remark and while the tension is rising in between, they heard people's shouts outside...
Finally, cheers called from outside, introducing the appearance of their friendly neighbourhood Spiderman, with such callings, the hostages regained a slight glimmer of hope while, the others tensed up. Kraven called through his earpiece "Octopus, I see him in sight" Kraven the most veteran hunter on the sinister was laying low from a dark room from the hospital covering the whole sky waiting for his prey to calmly reach his trap.
Octopus in return, from another room on another floor, uncovering the curtain of that room, with his tentacle. He shot his eyes at the boy who just arrived at the scene swinging around trying to barge through the hospital, he watched the crowd getting excited then he called firmly "Vulture... You copy!"
"Yes" answered the flying mad man sitting calm at the roof looking at his nemesis flying through the air through his night vision googles
"Begin your mission"
Outside the hospital, at the middle of the crowded square,
people were cheering all looking at the swinging hero diving through the sky and finally landing before the hospital in front of the citizens who gathered to watch the rescue mission. The police tried to move on at his arrival, but suddenly gas bombs were thrown and then missiles were fired in the chaos.
The wall crawler simply sensed the direction of the missiles coming at him from above, he evaded them and began jumped unto reach for his old enemy that spread out his metallic wings and flew up in the air.
But as he was in mid-air, three daggers flew his way that grazed him as he fell back in the gas. He held one of the daggers at the ground and called Kraven"
"Spiderman, Good to see an old prey down" only a voice called for him
"Don't count on that much" the web shooter called
"Hhhh, you seem surprised Spiderman" Vulture laughed
"What are you talking about?"
"Kraven was our trump card, He with his super tracking methods we dragged you down"
"Less talking, more hunting" A loud roar accompanied by a growl when the were-tiger bounced at him as he was waiting for that moment. Kraven waved his claw in the face of the web crawler, but Spiderman flipped back easily only to be crashed viciously by the strongest villain, Rhino appeared slamming his fists together I am gonna smash you bug"
Spiderman stood up again, he looked around but failed to locate his enemies amidst the gas, he shot his webs to the high buildings around to acquire higher ground, but his webs were cut soon he shot them with a heinous laugh, Vulture snickered the sky is closed for tonight.
His spider sense warned him of Rhino's attack, the web swinger with no path for the sky, he rolled aside to be kicked by Kraven who was so fast. Spiderman fell back but soon he stood again thinking 'how can they find me'
the symbiont called at the thought 'your arm'
The wall crawler looked at the strange illuminating powder stuck at his hands and at his shoulder, 'Kraven's daggers... he must have put something on them'
Rhino called on his earpiece 'I lost him'
don't worry' we have eyes in the sky' Kraven sniffed around, while Vulture called Kraven's 5 o'clock, he is standing lost"
Rhino shouted now, you are mine" he rushed forward in the gas but then a loud voice, not only alarmed the citizens, but shook the ground around. Kraven shouted what happened?"
I don't know. He had hit him, wait... what? How is that possible?
Kraven looked at the fallen Rhino as he slammed hard in the bronze statue in the square, but what was more surprising was a strange figure of Spiderman glowing lost in front of him, but it was just a T-shirt. Kraven shouted, it's a trap" but soon he was punched from behind as Peter stood without his shirt that had the symbiont attached too. Kraven was down, out cold and webbed to the ground after his transformation faded.
Bang- Vulture said "they are down, we lost him... You copy?" And as he was calling for backup, a light pole was thrown directly at him, Vulture was thrown away back to the roof vomiting from a powerful hit.
Peter reached for his shirt and again he changed to his alter ego amidst the gas, he jumped out to step nearer to the hospital but as he jumped to the 2nd floor of the hospital. Shocker ran out while shooting at him.
Spiderman crossed his arms taking the shock waves and falling back in pain "Huh?" the sole hero groaned in tiresome, he sensed the sudden movements from behind as Rhino was never finished yet..
Shocker shot again madly at his every move "Time for pay back for what you did to me last time"
Electro jumped from a window, shooting his discharges at him, slowly they both were cornering the spider with no escape, besides the new comer who showed from behind, Sand man suddenly made spikes trying to impale him, but Spider senses tingled in advance for him to jump in the air but Shocker was waiting to bounce at him for one on one combat.
They began fighting and the web crawler was losing slowly taking more punches than usual. But Suddenly Electro shot at the spider, the web swinger rolled back avoiding his discharge.
Shocker turned to Electro "Stay of my way" and he turned again and swayed a punch and two but then Spiderman had used this moment of distraction to grab one of Kraven's daggers and stab Shocker's gloves then kicked him in a backflip while leaving him to explode form overload in his machine. Without his weapon, Shocker ran in the chaos.
Electro dived down shooting at him right and left while the Spider trying to stay away from his sparks. But he couldn't at as Sandman was keeping him held down can't escape from his sand, Electro shouted in vanity "Stay down, BUG" but all his sparks were scattered in the sand, Mark shouted "Can't you do a better job?
"Just like yours?"
Spiderman called in the middle provoking them all "lover's quarrel. Do you wanna a room?"
His only thoughts were 'I have to take them away from the hospital so cap. Stacy can save Aunt May'
However a big roar called for their attention from behind, and Rhino awoke from his slumber, he rushed to Spiderman in full speed and anger. The web crawler tried to fly but his feet was stuck as Sandman held him down, faced with a bulldozer sweeping everything in his way. Spiderman was tossed away on the air, simultaneously he was electrocuted by Electro who finally caught his enemy on surprise "Finally, I got to fry the Spider" He shouted.
Spiderman fell on the ground half conscious and defeated, with no power to keep going. He could barely see the feet of his enemies surrounding him. While listening to that awful sound of metals clanging on the asphalt approaching him, a metal tentacle grabbed his ankle and rose him high up like a dead fish.
D. Octopus shouted "Spiderman is no more"
Gasps spread through the citizens, people looked in pain while other turned their face in sorrow, and Captain Stacy ordered the Swat to move in but Rhino and Electro kept most of them at bay.
"How are you now, Peter?" sadistically called the main villain as he pulled the beaten boy up high to his face.
Hung upside down, hazily recognizing the voice, D. Octopus continued "Don't worry, I won't kill you, you are far too precious to be wasted here. I shall finish my researches first and then slowly get to know what it is making you, Spiderman... can you imagine it, an army with your abilities, under my control? Just simple experiments, I assure you the procedures wouldn't be easy, Kukukuku" D. Octopus snickered madly hung on his victory, then he pointed at the hospital's entrance. "Ah, look who is here... It's aunt May. So don't think of running away, I can always find her Peter Parker"
Peter looked in haze to the hospital reception to find the poor lady on her hospital bed tied to it alone in the ruins.
"... No" Peter shouted while extending his hand to the woman's direction... D. Octopus slammed his body higher, that his body dug deep in the ground... "Stop struggling or she dies, Peter" the villain smiled but then the boy on the ground with torn outfit and broken bones, mumbled faintly.
Octopus pulled him up again to see him finally out of gas...
However, in a sudden trice,
-BAM- Spiderman opened his white eyes widely startling wildly at Octopus while gathering every last bit in his power and punched his face very hard, then he grabbed one of his tentacles calling "SPARKY"
"Don't call me that" Electro before turning raised his power to maximum and dived back to his enemy only to see a big lump of metal thrown at him. The whole mad scientist's body flew towards Electro. One was electrocuted and the other was pinned down... the boy glimpsed the woman in sight, he walked to her as he kept dragging his feet. But Rhino appeared and jumped at him, with no power to stand in his way, Peter shot his webs and blinded his eyes, but the monster didn't stop his charge, Peter webbed his legs together and kept shooting to slow him down but still he charged ahead and crashed into one concrete column of the hospital again. He tried to stand again but Spiderman shot his webs at a large debris from up high and pulled it over Rhino's head.
During the last moments, Vulture entered the fight again, but he saw he had no place in crushing the defeated spider, but when the situation altered in less than a minute, he knew his time had come so he tried to escape but to make such an opening he shot 4 missiles at the hospital's front door and ran away.
Spiderman shouted "Aunt May, Noooo" He jumped in to prevent the debris from crushing the unconscious woman but he got blown away by one of the 4 missiles. The Spider stood up quickly to see the bed crushed under the ruins with no sign of the women. In a single moment of silence, his world crushed, he fell on his knees soullessly blaming himself as he couldn't protect the last member of his family after making many promises to her. However, miraculously shouts from behind, whistles and cheers rose from everywhere. Spiderman looked up to see what those people were rooting for?
He looked up to see Sandman carrying the old woman in his arms. He ran to him and carefully took her in his arms, she looks so peaceful, so serene. People's shouts continued and their hands began clapping but soon, all slowly came to a halt when they saw the boy on the ground with woman in his arms.
"NNNOOOOOOO, Don't, Don't go... Please Wake up... Please...," sobbing, "Don't Die... Please" His cries echoed loudly from the top of his lungs, that some citizens began crying tears sympathizing with the young hero's shouts.
Sandman stood silently mourning for a moment before disappearing like tiny grains blown in air whispering "Sorry, boy.. I never agreed on that"
The police advanced with lots of back up. Cap. Stacy could reassemble the whole scenario from the broken puzzle pieces scattered everywhere. He approached the silent man sitting beside the old woman's body.
"Kid, are you okay? It's not your fault, Spiderman... You did your best" he put his hand on the boy's shoulder comforting him, however the boy in his tight black suit stood up among the ruins & slowly walked out through the crowd, who stood on both sides unable to comfort their friendly neighborhood Spiderman. He walked few steps and swung over the building then disappeared in the dark night.
