As the voice takes me out of my concentration, I snap my head to look at my door to see my grandmother. After processing her words I reply
"Yes Obaasan, I can create and control strings."
"Oh my, what a great quirk. I'm so happy for you, I'm sure you can become a great hero with that. we should go to the hospital to get your quirk registered."
I nod my head whilst in my mind thinking about my future
'The fruit that I ate and the world I'm in seem so nostalgic and familiar. I wish I had my memories, everything is so confusing and overwhelming. I need to calm down and think. If I can train my quirk enough I could potentially be the strongest hero. I need to try to be able to produce endless strings whilst changing the hardness and sharpness of it. It would also be good to make them almost invisible to the eye. I've got a lot of work ahead of me to become the strongest hero seeing as I can barely make and control one string.'
After my contemplation and thinking of what I can do with my newly gained power, I follow my grandmother to the hospital.
After getting my quirk registered as string manipulation and being able to go home I ask my grandmother
"Can I learn martial arts please."
"No, your only 4. I know you want to be a hero when you grow up but you need to wait until you grow up to do dangerous stuff like that."
my grandmother replied. Then continues to say
"you can start when you're 10."
"But that's too late, I need a strong body to be a hero, please at least let me start when I'm 8."
I said in a complaining voice. My grandmother sighs then states
"Ok, I guess you can learn martial arts when you turn 8. But you have to promise me to be a good boy until then or else I won't allow you."
"Yes, thank you Obaasan. I will be a good boy."
I hug her then run to my room to continue with my quirk training as I need a lot of practice.
As I run to my room something I see on the way shocks me and makes me come to a halt. I look over to the thing and see a cute 4 year old with grayish turquoise hair and light blue eyes with a bit of baby fat making him extra cute. His innocent and cute looking face making you want to protect him.
As I start to remember I am 4 and realise the thing I'm looking at is a mirror. I stare at my self in a daze until a smile appears on my face as I know when I grow up I will be very attractive.
Starting on my journey to my room it is evident that I'm very happy from the massive smile on my face. As I arrive in my room I go over to my bed and sit down in a lotus position. Then I proceed to try to train my string powers.
*** 2 years later
As I wake up I remember that today I start elementary school and my mood instantly wersens. I may not have any memories but I can still read and write and do many maths questions way beyond what a 6 year old can do. So the idea of having to spend time with a bunch of snotty children does not exite me and I would rather spend time training my quirk.
after my two years of training I have made significant progress. so far I can always have 10 strings active with no problem and extend them in a radius of 20 meters from me. I have not been able to increase the sharpness of the string but have been able to increase the durability and visibility to even the point where they can not be cut with a sharp knife and are almost invisible to the human eye.
The maximum amount of strings I can control at a time without collapsing from exhaustion is 150 for only 20 seconds before it becomes to much. The progress is good but I have found a correlation between the amount of strings I can control and the stamina I have. This means my training will be slow until I can start my martial arts training. I have been doing some basic exercises but nothing that advanced as there is not much equipment I can use at the park.
To not worry my grandmother I have been lying about playing with friends at the park when I have actually just been focused on increasing the power of my quirk power.
Back to the present I am in my grandmothers car on my way to the first day of elementary school. As I leave the car my grandmother says
"Be sure to have fun and make some more friends. I love you, bye."
Then my grandmother closes the door and proceeds to drive of. As my grandmothers car becomes out of sight a member of staff comes up to me and takes me to the school hall for the welcoming ceremony for the students.
