"I killed your father. How could I expect that if I decide to change myself you will treat me the same way?" He pondered aloud, his question rhetorical yet directed at her with a longing for understanding.
"You're dear to me too, Kangki. I will always be here for you and I won't ever change the way I treat you or feel about you. I would change only if you did something against me and my family now. I know your past, and I know the real you." She assured him with a genuine smile.
