Chapter 68 - Chapter-68

Sin has been specifically chosen to endure rough confinement within the dungeon for a consecutive span of exactly two days. Prior to embarking on this daunting endeavor, he diligently sought and successfully obtained the necessary consent from his parents.

The primary objective he is aiming for is to increase the strength of his force to a substantial 10,000 Newtons. With unwavering confidence in his abilities and talents, he firmly believes that by dedicating himself to campaigning tirelessly for a consecutive period of two days, he can successfully attain this desired level of force..

As of now, he finds himself situated on the 29th floor, where he can unequivocally attest to the fact that the level of difficulty experienced upon surpassing the 20th-floor mark is of an entirely distinct magnitude when compared with the lower floors. In addition, the quantity of menacing creatures lurking within each floor has witnessed a substantial multiplication, thereby underlining the difficulty of the journey. Moreover, not only has the intensity escalated, but the span of each individual floor has also noticeably expanded in comparison to its predecessors situated on the lower echelons.

Nevertheless, Sin found it relatively easy to surpass these levels, as his main focus was on defeating the boss monster on floor 30, whose level was significantly higher at 40. Normally, in the lower floors of the dungeon, the boss monsters were expected to be at the same level as the floor itself. However, things began to change when the boss monsters on floor 30 began hatching from their protective eggshells.

Taking this into consideration, Sin proceeds to tread upon the thirtieth floor, fully anticipating the presence of the notorious Hob Goblins, as this particular floor serves as their dwelling place. Nevertheless, to his utter surprise and disappointment, not a solitary goblin could be found in this vicinity.

Several minutes later, he finally comprehended the absence and realized the underlying rationale behind it. The maids he had perceived earlier were actively participating in a campaign, aligning themself with the inspection team that was diligently working to investigate the perplexing phenomenon known as the White Vortex.

As soon as they caught sight of him, they slowly made their way over to where he stood, curiosity evident in their expressions. Intrigued, they couldn't help but inquire about his presence on this particular floor. Deep down, they held the notion that he must have ended up here inadvertently or due to the recent strange occurrences within the dungeon.

Sin pretended to be oblivious to their thought process which was visible on their face, tilting his head in confusion. Eventually, he responded with a vague remark, nonchalantly stating that he came here by his own feet.

His last answer had conveyed a clear message to them - he appeared in this floor just like any other ordinary adventurer. Then he showed a demeanor that exuded an air of authority as he approached them, inquiring about the progress of their investigation

In response, they stated that they were still in search of a solution or remedy for this particular issue.

Sin then told them that it appeared that they had effortlessly eradicated all of the Hob Goblins on this level. Curious to explore further, he inquired whether it would be permissible for him to continue his journey to the boss's room.

All eyes of the maids were fixed on one another as uncertainty clouded their minds, unsure of what words would escape their lips in this crucial moment. Yet, amidst the silence, a brave maid summoned the courage to raise her hand and pose a question, seeking confirmation on whether he was truly determined to face this formidable boss alone. She felt the need to clarify that her inquiry was not an attempt to underestimate his abilities, but rather a recognition of the fact that this particular boss held an unprecedented strength compared to any previous adversaries encountered within the treacherous confines of the dungeon.

Sin responded to her, informing her that they would see whether or not he had the ability to defeat it after fulfilling his raid. Upon listening to his words, they did not attempt to convince or influence him. Subsequently, he slowly approached the boss's office, taking deliberate steps towards his destination.

In their role as a battle maid, it was their responsibility to prevent him from proceeding further, considering he was their young lord. Nevertheless, they were strictly prohibited from intervening if Sin chose to undertake any daring ventures. Consequently, despite their inner instincts urging them to halt him, they refrained from doing so and instead watched his figure disappear as he headed toward the boss's chamber.

Upon entering the boss room, Sin was met with the sight of an immense tiger peacefully slumbering. Curiosity piqued, he halted his steps momentarily, keen on observing the potential response from the majestic beast. To his astonishment, it appeared as though the tiger remained entirely undisturbed, showing no signs of waking or acknowledging Sin's presence. As Sin began to approach him, the monstrous figure began to stir, shifting its ear and gradually opening its eyes to catch a glimpse of Sin's presence. With a slow and deliberate motion, it rose to its feet, emitting a menacing low growl that reverberated through the air. Sin continued to advance, closing the distance between them, and in response, the tiger unleashed a series of ear-piercing roars that echoed throughout the surroundings, sending shivers down Sin's spine.

Yellow Tiger was quicker than Boss Cat in launching its attack, as it leaped into the air with the intention of targeting him.

From the moment it came just before him, he immediately started utilizing Kamui. Sin is well aware that allowing the tiger to have any contact with him will inevitably lead to negative consequences.

As soon as Sin let it slip him, Sin donned the faceless mask, covering his entire face. With the show firmly in place, he embarked on an exhilarating sprint towards the approaching tiger. Fueled by an indescribable rage, the tiger reciprocated Sin's fortitude, menacingly hurtling towards him, punctuating its advance with a deafening roar reverberating through the surroundings.

Once again, the outcome remained unchanged as Sin allowed the tiger to pass right through him. The tiger again gave a confused look, he wanted to see where the human went to. Despite the tiger's desire to catch a glimpse of its own posterior, it found itself incapable of doing so.
