Chapter 61 - Chapter-61

Sin was strolling along the corridor one day when he noticed a young girl in his path. To his delight, he recognized her as his niece. Observing her curious gaze darting in different directions, he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and familiarity.

She appeared lost, as if unsure of which path to take. Sin noticed this and approached her with a smile. Since she hadn't seen him yet, he quietly came up from behind and captured her eyes with his hands, and locked her vision to see.

Then he asked her, "Guess what, little cat, who is this tiger?"

Sin anticipated that her niece would let out a piercing scream, fully aware that the moment she will do that, he would swiftly be transported back to of his own room. Sin was certain that her niece's mother, Yuna, would dash to the scene, anxiously inquiring about what had transpired. The moment her niece confidently proclaimed that a tiger had been the cause of the commotion, Sin couldn't help but imagine the intriguing expression that would undoubtedly grace Yuna's face in response to such an unexpected revelation.

By allowing her to search for her mother, he not only grants her the opportunity to reunite with Yuna, but he also derives amusement from witnessing her mother's fright. It is solely Yuna's responsibility for neglecting to supervise her and allowing her to freely roam the house.

Unfortunately, his imagination proved to be completely inaccurate as the events unfolded. Upon hearing his approach, she promptly responded with a stern warning, to not to eat her by addressing him as a "bad tiger" and asserting her ability to defend herself. In a confident tone, she emphasized the extraordinary sharpness and strength of her teeth, making it clear that she was not one to be taken lightly. Furthermore, she boldly declared her capability of turning the tables and devouring him in return, leaving him astounded by her unexpected declaration. It became evident that the initial assumptions and preconceived notions were far from the truth.

Upon hearing her voice, a surge of electricity coursed through his veins, captivating his senses. The sheer adorability of her presence caught him off guard, leaving him awestruck and mesmerized. Never in his wildest dreams did he anticipate this petite and innocent little girl to exhibit such a surprising cute demeanor.

Sin released her eyes, proceeding to inform her that the flavor of the tiger isn't that tasty, particularly when consumed in its uncooked state.

Sin found her eyes incredibly endearing as they displayed a hint of fear, making her even more adorable in his sight.

When she saw it was Sin, she grimaced and said, "Ah! It's the bad uncle."

Sin was taken aback when he heard his niece refer to him as a bad uncle. Curiosity piqued, he couldn't help but inquire about the source of this harsh judgment. To his unsurprised, she revealed that her own mother was responsible for planting such negative thoughts in her young mind. According to her, her mother had explicitly stated that Sin was the epitome of a terrible uncle, undoubtedly the worst in existence. This revelation left Sin feeling a mix of emotions - hurt, confusion, and a deep longing to comprehend the reasons behind such severe criticism.

When he remembered why she was doing that, Sin then nodded in understanding, acknowledging the logic behind the situation. It became clear to him that the woman harbored an intense and deep-seated animosity towards him, as if her entire being was consumed by a vehement dislike. She was unable to release the deep-seated resentment she harbored towards him for the moment he callously tossed her onto the pile of rubbish. That one incident could potentially lead to her harboring resentment towards him for the rest of her life.

Sin assured Jui that he was not a malevolent individual. Interestingly enough, it is worth mentioning that Jui was the name of this little girl, sharing the same name of his manager's daughter who he has played with many times. In a kind gesture, Sin take out some delectable candies from space with the intention of giving them to Jui. It is important to note that these particular sweets were actually a gift from Ira, yet Sin himself did not particularly have a fondness for candy, resulting in him opting to store them away for future use. Thus, Sin can offer this candy to another individual who eats sweets like this.

With a gaze filled with suspicion, she proceeded to utter those words, emphasizing that this particular action marked the initial phase in the transformation of a loving uncle into a nefarious individual. Her mother had previously cautioned her about the dangers posed by sinister strangers and deceitful uncles who would entice innocent children with delectable treats only to abduct them.

However even Jui was the one who was telling her mother's warning, she succumbed to temptation, accepting the enticing candy nonetheless.

Sin couldn't control his laughter, finding it amusing how she felt the need to specifically single him out among all the other bad individuals. It is as if he was leader of those bad people.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that this was not the initial occasion on which she engaged in conversation with Sin. In fact, Ira had taken her to his room on numerous occasions for recreational activities. Despite Sin's genuine efforts to establish a strong affinity, it became apparent that she was not a child who could be easily consoled.

Sin inquired about the reason for Jui's presence in this place, to which she promptly responded that she was on a quest to find her beloved Aunt Ira. Upon receiving this information, Sin's face lit up with a warm smile as he kindly informed her that Ira, unfortunately, was unwell and therefore taking the much-needed time to recuperate within the confines of her room.

Upon receiving that discouraging news, Jui felt disheartened and expressed her dissatisfaction, emphasizing that being sick is not a favorable experience. Furthermore, she herself had recently fallen ill and endured physical discomfort, reinforcing her aversion towards illnesses.

It was not a pleasant sight for Sin to see a dejected little girl. He said to her: Do you know what I'm doing, now?

Jui glanced over at him inquisitively and inquired about his current activities. In response, he disclosed that he was currently engaged in an exhilarating treasure hunt, which filled with anticipation and excitement.

Her face lit up and she said, "What's a treasure hunt, bad uncle?"

Sin let out a laugh, brimming with an enigmatic tone, as he revealed that he had been on a quest to find the specific candy that she had been indulging in.
