I was being carried by Jacob away from the north and back to the forest near Farenlite. My leg was still in so much pain with the lodged arrow piercing it. The pain was unbearable that I blocked out at some point, but not before I saw a flash of light that made the night look like it was day. It lasted for a few seconds, and it got dark once again. After that, I did not remember what happened since I passed out.
I opened my eyes in my room back at my manor in the duchy of Heathfield in Wisteria. I was still groggy, and I felt my body so heavy and there was pain in my leg. The room was dim lit with candles lights and a fire was burning in the fireplace. My throat was dry and parched and I tried speaking but the voice that came out was hoarse.
"Rose…" I heard Vladford's voice and saw him sitting by my bed side with tousled hair. It looked like he was sleeping by my bedside all along.
"W-Water…" I was able to let out in my hoarse voice.
