"What the... Bella, what in hell are you up to?" I took a deep breath as I watched Kiara's reaction to what I had just told her.
"What exactly are you up to, girl? Firstly, it's the sudden disappearance or 'vacation,' as you said Leon took," she said, making quotation signs with both fingers. "Then the sudden mission you assigned Ramona to, and now you also want to send Ava over there?" She questioned with wild eyes, and I couldn't help but prepare myself mentally as she's going to be furious when she finds out about my other actions.
"Ahem, actually, Ava should be arriving anytime now..." I pouted, tapping both my fingers together.
"Is your sister aware you sent her only child to a country filled with vampires?" She raised an eyebrow, giving me an unsettled look, and I couldn't stop being grateful to Butterfly for suggesting I speak with her through a video call.
