After going through the reports Bella gave me, it clearly showed that Ella isn't my biological child... Although I hate Bella, I know she wouldn't fabricate such a cruel thing.
I turned to look at Nuella, whose expression was filled with fear as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Nuella, w... what's the meaning of this?"
"Darling, you shouldn't trust her... you know she never liked me nor our daughter, and don't forget she killed our daughter."

"She's trying to plant a seed of doubt in you... she wants to tear us apart after snatching our daughter away."
"And what will she gain from that?" I asked, emotionless and confused.
"Your property, power, and..."
"Who are you kidding, Nuella? Bella has the property and power, and we both know mine is nothing compared to hers," I said, trying to control my emotions.
