"Has your memory returned?" Xavier asked again. "Let's go and punish him! This man should never exist on this lovely earth."
Iris took a deep breath. What frustrated her was that she only remembered the man's name, Eric. She didn't recall his last name, his assassin guild, or where he lived.
'God!! What's the use of having my memory partially return if I can't find him?' Iris could only vent her anger inwardly. She glanced at Xavier with a half smile.
"No, my memories have not yet returned; I only remember his first name, Eric," Iris said.
She felt frustrated.
Xavier could sense her disappointment at the moment. He truly wanted to help her.
However, when he confronted Lucian, asking him about Iris's background story, the man said he didn't know either. He had merely accepted the assignment from higher-ups.
"This is so frustrating!" She said as she lay down on the bed again.
