After she sent the text, there was no reply from Gavriel. It made her impatient. She decided to call him but restrained herself when she saw Xavier sitting opposite her.
Iris tried to distract herself by checking another news story, but not long after, she heard Justin's voice calling her. She turned to look in his direction.
She was surprised to see Justin and Niles approaching them.
"Lower your voice, Justin!" Iris glared at him. "This is the library, and Xavier was sleeping. You can't make noise here," she scolded in a hushed tone. "And how did you guys know we were here?"
Justin was momentarily speechless. It was evident that Xavier hadn't been asleep at all. Earlier, they had communicated through their minds, and he had told him to come here.
"Someone informed us that you guys were here," Justin explained in a low voice, not wanting to upset the young lady before him. "Iris, it's lunchtime. Let's go to the cafeteria," he suggested.
