When Iris arrived at her house, it was already past 9 pm and the house was pitch black, only a few small lights could be seen shining through.
She can't spot where her grandma is now. Her 'God Eye' ability is only active during missions and disappears when her goal is reached once she is in a safe place. The temporary activation of this superhuman ability pissed her off a bit. If only she could obtain that extraordinary power indefinitely, surely that would be amazing, right?
Stepping out of the car, Iris swiftly retrieved two bags. She no longer relies on her grandmother to open the door, as she now holds a spare key. However, before ascending to the second floor of her bedroom, she decided to check her grandma first.
"Grandma, are you asleep?" Iris asked while gently knocking on the bedroom door. After a short pause, her grandmother's voice came from inside.
