With her eyes blinded, Arianell didn't know who was lurking around her.
"Who is there?"
The low growl continued responding to her.
"You are… that cub I saw at the Hunting Festival, aren't you?" She asked with a much calmer voice. If it was a magical beast, she had nothing to worry about.
"I can't see right now, but come closer… I won't hurt you," she lured him out.
Something velvety moved to her leg, nuzzling as if it were her long-cherished pet. The familiar smell of the Forest reached her nose, the scent that calmed her mind no matter the situation. The big cat pressed closer, making a soft purr of contentment. There was a comforting weight to its presence, a silent reassurance that she was not alone in her struggles.
