When Xia Lihua arrived at the restaurant with Blaze, she could immediately see why it was such a popular spot in town.
It was a beautiful traditional Chinese diner with its detailed wooden windows, red lanterns hanging above, and delicate vases on each table. Despite its simple exterior, it was bustling with customers.
"Good thing I know the owner," Blaze mentioned as they sat down at a table, "otherwise, we'd be waiting for a long time."
A young woman approached their table with a large notepad in her hand.
Xia Lihua's gaze met hers, and for a moment, both were stunned.
"Shen Jia..." Xia Lihua began, surprised to see her there.
Shen Jia had a subtle smile on her face. "This is my family's restaurant."
"Your parents own it?"
"No my uncle."
Shen Jia's voice was a bit strange when she said it.
